Imposter Syndrome always seems to hit the people who are the most deserving of their status. Ken Sugimori as an example says he constantly feels inadequate to his younger staff because they all went to art school. He's scared he'll one day outlive his usefulness. But then he makes this.

The government should open a grocery store in every city where they sell products made by them and local suppliers that charges a small profit. Instead of selling products from private corporations.

Since most states put a tax on their food they don't even need to upcharge for a small profit. They would just charge the cost plus local taxes. The tax is already the government's cut.

Food companies are threatening us for not buying their stuff by telling us that they'll make inflation go higher. Capitalism is working as intended. I'm glad that this is the best system we can do and nothing better exists.

2010 Me: If a machine is sufficiently intelligent enough I think it should be considered a person. 2026 Me: AI can't be a person and should never be treated as such regardless of how smart it is.

Forgot alt text. Picture of the corner of a metal fenced in area. Halfway up the corner is a baby raccoon trying to climb out and escape the annoying creature trying to take pictures of it. The raccoon is looking at the person holding the camera worryingly.

Trans people are terrible at picking names we have: Trans man whose first name is a last name. Lily for the 50th time. Ethan for the 100th. Dead name but with a y at the end. Victorian child who died from lead poisoning. White person with Japanese name. Object like star or dirt.

Got invited to a new vtuber streaming app. They wanted a deal where I stream 30 hours a month 5 days a week in exchange for early access to their streaming service and monetize. Of course this sounded sus, if you have a good product you don't need to pay people to use it.

They offered to make a free model for vtubing with but when I checked out the app it's png tubers only. They let you use your own model but it's still pngtubing only. It's also only streaming from the phone which means no gameplay. It's all just chatting and I don't consider myself a

strong enough conversationalist to pull that off. But why would I use a service that has less features than my existing method of streaming? Why would I go back to png when I have a 3d model?

Free idea for artists: Sell your art even if it's just practice sketches in digital books or physical ones even. You can self publish via amazon. You can also sell them through your patreon or as a bonus reward for patrons.

Found out why my wonderswan only lasted 10 hours on a battery instead of 40. The batteries that I bought were 1300mah instead of 2300mah like I thought. It says to not use rechargable too so I'm picking up regular batteries later.

Guy that I play magic with got a gba and modded it. He won't change the screen out so he can actually see it so he can keep it close to the original experience. So I bought him a wormlight for extra immersion. I might not like him but he's Gen Z and I want to encourage this love for old stuff.

I'm not against being friends with him so I'm considering getting a gba and modding it myself. I'll show him my wonderswan tomorrow at commander when I give him the wormlight. It's been a while since I've fixed a handheld so I'll probably buy a junk one.

Being good at Magic's Standard format is a double edged sword. Unlike commander you don't want to share your deck. You tell people how awesome your standard deck is and it either becomes meta or people build against it.

I just realized I lost to first place so I didn't just get top 8 but in my first ever tournament I took second place!

Played Standard MTG at my store's championship and went 2-1. So close to three wins in a row. I was playing Simic Elf Landfall, the deck is all gas and has no removal or interaction. Despite that and everyone else running removal I had plenty of elves to power through it.

Boss: How was your Commander (Mtg) day? Did you win? Me: Commander is more of a casual thing, no one really keeps track of winning and losing. *flashback* Player: You're a piece of shit and if there is ever a banlist your entire deck should be on it!

I didn't have my full deck though and I almost didn't play because my cards arrived in the mail same day. Not all of them came in though, the cards I'm missing would have helped with the burn deck I lost to because they were life gain.

I'm in a very weird spot. I have coworkers who like me a lot. They're willing to do extra work to make my job easier. I've never had people who were willing to work harder or longer for me. Usually it's me getting stuck doing all the work.

Finished making a standard deck for mtg and the cards come in in about a week. The deck is simic elves using foundations elves paired with hobbit elves. The deck revolves around landfall elf making and numerous anthems. All effects are done through creatures to keep a full board.

The idea is to play woodland weavemaster then make a ton of elves with landfall. I win around turn 4-5. Since half the cards come from foundations & hobbit is new the deck is legal as is until 2028. So it's a somewhat future proof deck which is what I want because I'm just trying to get promo packs.

New commander deck I'm building is Myra The Magnificent from Unfinity. No one uses attractions despite being pretty busted. But basically Myra attaches an instant or sorcery to an attraction and when I roll the die to visit attractions on my turn I can cast the attached spell for free.

So I'll get extra turns frequently. If I'm lucky I'll take turns until I win. I can do the same with boardwipes and just about any sorcery or instant is good for this. Something like seize the spoils means saving mana and discarding expensive cards to get around paying the initial cost.

This is busted but it's gambling heavy and my pod plays high bracket so they won't be surprised by something like this. Since we have people who play decks that do similar like repeatedly blinking or flashing boardwipes. It'll be funny to keep rivers rebuking the avacyn player's deck.

The deck uses token makers like Talrand who make a token when I play a noncreature spell to keep me alive. Then I attach extra turn spells to my attractions. I'll have cards like Berserker class to let me roll two die picking the highest result which means I'll almost never roll a 1.

I think my coworker was forced into employment and it's really bumming me out because she refuses to do any work until her boyfriend comes in and scolds her. I'm 35 and chose not to have kids, I signed up to be a cashier not a babysitter.

I think she is trying to get fired which is what's bumming me because she doesn't know how low the bar is. I feel like malicious compliance and weaponized incompetence isn't going to be enough for her to get fired. We have people late to work by as much as 15 min who have worked her for a decade.

15 min daily btw. From their lunch break too. If she is trying to get fired she is going to have to no call no show and her bf won't let her do that. So I'm stuck doing the work of two people because this 30 year old didn't grow up.

You should play fortune mill, it's made by the guy who made Idleon (Lavaflame2) and it's another idle game masterpiece. I've been playing their games for about a decade now and they really understand how to make a good idle game.

Blythe and Kanny both work morning jobs and I work an evening job. So it looks like I only get to hang out with my wives on weekends and Monday and Friday afternoons. I have more time to work on YouTube videos and I could stream but I'd be doing it at midnight until 4am.

Made this deck using hydras, keyword equips/enchants, and stuff like blanchwood armor and bonehoard. Blor got to 26 and couldn't be removed from the game. The best cards were ones that give keyword counters and untap like sudden spinnerets.

The pod is making decks for Commander Mystery Boosters in advance of the release. The others have chosen rulebreaker cards but I see a lot of potential in this frog. He has everything a voltron commander needs for protection and trample. My 99 is... 1/4
