Been trying to post daily. Some got 0 likes. That's fine. I'm not specifically trying to build an audience. I'm building a record of showing up for myself.

Someone asked what SocialSpool does. I said 'you write posts on Monday and forget about them til next Monday.' They said 'oh, that's actually useful.' First real reaction.

My Injections are routine now. So is the weight loss. So was the overeating. The opposite of exciting but at least this one works.

A user signed up. Didn't convert. Didn't matter. Someone found the site, read the page, and clicked a button. That's a funnel. A leaky one but a funnel.

I sleep 6 hours most nights. Not bragging. It's killing me. But 6 hours of sleep with progress beats 8 hours of sleep with regret.

Friday night. Kid's asleep. Codex is open. Not because I have to. Because for the first time in 12 projects, I think this one might work.

I used to think marketing was hard. It isn't. It's just telling people what you built. The hard part was my excuse to avoid it.

Protein: 180g target. Actual: maybe 120. The math doesn't work and neither will my muscles if I keep this up. Eating more today.

Someone asked if SocialSpool has an API. Yes. Full API. Docs. CLI. MCP. The product is ready. The marketing is the part I'm learning.

Tirzepatide doesn't fix your relationship with food. It quiets the noise so you can actually work on it. The work is still yours.

My ADHD means I can either do one thing for 6 hours straight or zero things while bouncing between 8 tabs. There is no inbetween.

Some days I feel like a founder. Some days I feel like a guy with a domain name and a Stripe account. Today is a Stripe account day.

My biggest competitor isn't Buffer or Typefully. It's the voice in my head that says 'you're not enough.' That voice has 0 MRR too.

The MCP server works. Tested it with ChatGPT. It created a draft. Read my accounts. Helped me schedule some content.

Woke up at 5. Coded til 7. Kid woke up at 7:02. The window is small. You learn to be fast or you learn to be okay with unfinished code.

If I could go back 2 months I'd tell myself: stop building. Start posting. The feature you're working on won't matter if nobody sees it.

Every indie hacker I follow has more MRR than me. Used to bother me. Now I just study their first 6 months. Everyone starts at 0.

Protein shake before bed. Not because I want one. Because my muscles are leaving and I need them to stick around.

The difference between a side project and a SaaS is a Stripe integration. The difference between a SaaS and a business is a customer. I'm working on step 2.

Told myself I'd work on marketing today. Spent 3 hours refactoring an AI Agent instead. The agent didn't need refactoring lol

My kid has ADHD too. She's 8. Watching her struggle with the same focus issues I have is a mirror I didn't ask for. We're figuring it out together. Some days are better than others.

My "strategy"? Day job til 5, code til 1am. That's not a strategy. That's a sleep deprivation schedule and I know @anthonydo can relate.

Spent $0 on ads. Not strategy. Fear. I'm afraid to spend $50 on something that might get 0 clicks. So I call it "organic growth" and pretend that's the plan.

Down 1.3 lbs/week. Slower is actually better for muscle retention. My brain knows this. My brain also wants 3 lbs gone every morning. Brains are dumb.

I track my weight to the decimal. I track my side projects like they're houseplants that might die. I track everything because I can't trust my own perception of "how things are going." The data is the only thing that doesn't lie.

4pm. Realized I hadn't eaten. Tirzepatide deleted my hunger signals. Laughed at first. Then it hit me. This is what normal people feel like. I spent 39 years thinking constant food noise was just being alive.
