Starbucks CEO wants employees to lie to you all. The employees are being let go where the locations are closing. They are losing all thier seniority and benefits. If they want to continue with the company, they have to apply at a new location and start over at the beginning.

BREAKING: Starbucks just announced a $1 billion restructuring and will close 59 unionized stores — nearly 10% of union locations. It includes the Roastery in Seattle, one of its busiest shops. CEO Brian Niccol made $100 million in four months last year.

Starbucks is closing stores and cutting 900 jobs in a restructuring move. 1,100 jobs were slashed earlier this year. Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024. This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.
