I usually hide ads on Reddit when I come across them, but there’s two RBC ads (Royal Bank of Canada) with Will Arnett that make me pause and go like this every time.

I absolutely love the first “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie. IMO, the sequels didn’t come close to comparing, but for me, the first was perfection - and, just maybe, POTC walked so that #OFMD could run.

I’ve seen the video of that so-called Tesla flying car, and I’m flabbergasted. THAT thing? That’s what’s got certain Redditors saying “Even if you hate Elon, you have to admit the car is cool AF”?? And it costs HOW MUCH, and some folks are actually PAYING it???

Every time there’s a Reddit thread like “Which cancelled TV series would you give anything to bring back” or “Which onscreen couple had the best chemistry “, you better believe I’m shouting about #OFMD from the rooftops.

I won’t lie, friends, all the “Whatever happened to Taika Waititi?” articles are making me really sad. I so want another brilliant project from him (preferably more #OFMD, of course), but from the sound of things, “Kiara and the Sun” isn’t it.

My husband and I, sitting down to watch “Chicken Run 2”. Me: “Ugh, I hope it’s not Mel Gibson voicing Rocky again.” Husband (checks): “It’s not.” Me: “Oh, good! I didn’t want to hear that asshole’s voice. Who replaced him?”. Husband: “Zachary Levy.” Me: “… not much better.”

Ugh. Gross.

The flight back was easily the most bumpy one I’ve ever been on, and I wasn’t happy. Thank God the flight attendant this time was nice. “Would you like another Chardonnay?”. “YES PLEASE.” Then I slept most of the rest of the way home.

I was alone, which made me a little self conscious, plus I’m 62, so I wondered if anyone would think I was someone’s grandma. But no. It was a lovely event, Rachel is a fucking gem, and I’m so glad I went.

I finally got around to reading an #OFMD fic I'd bookmarked in 2024. "Hmm, the author orphaned their account. Hmm, is it just me, or is this fic really terrible?". Then I checked the comments, and they all said "Get this AI slop out of here." Guess that explains the orphaning and the terribleness.
