Also not complaining about it coming a day early. Quite happy for it to be here as I hate the old sofa. Good job DFS.

DFS calls. Can we bring your sofa a day early, in about an hour maybe. Cue Shane. Single handedly wrapping the old sofa in plastic. Ross Gellar pivoting it out of the house to the back entry for council pick up tomorrow. Dragging it down the street. Wrecked.

According to life expectancy data, people in tech live 7–8 years longer than manual laborers (~82 vs ~73). Sigh.

Very much looking forward to a whole new set of critical security vulnerabilities this week. Can we just shut the agents off now?

Started rewatching The Blacklist. Forgot how amazing James Spader is in it. And also how daft it is at times.

Apple are missing a trick not releasing a 25th anniversary iPod that can connect to and pull music from Apple Music subs as well as storing local music.

iPhone duo has a good spec but I’m just not sold on foldable phones yet. I think this is a wait for vduo type of product.

Strange New Worlds has had some ok stories this season but the gimmicks have been too much. One or two episodes is fine. But every episode being a gimmick is ridiculous.

State of Play was interesting. Not sure about that massive Crimson Desert DLC. That game is overwhelming enough.

Just finishing up season 2 of Succession. Would I like to be this filthy rich? Yes. Would it turn me into a ruthless, horrible sociopath? Also yes.

We don’t take the time to celebrate the little wins these days. It’s always about major project achievements or massive milestones. Today, for example, I didn’t wake up with the immediate urge to slam my head against my desk at the thought of 23 more years of labor. A small win.
