How do you ask for help when you don't know what you need

To the suiters who physically pulled me in during the "white color" photoshoot at #BLFC2026 - thank you. I struggle with feeling like I fit in and belong in social settings, but you really made me feel like I was supposed to be there. A small friendly gesture from strangers really made my con.

I've had my criticisms of FA management and the like over the years, but there's no getting around the fact FA is one of the last places left that truly serves furry art and the community as a whole. No algorithms, no AI, no data stealing. From here on out I'm a FA+ subscriber.

One of the things that's awesome about getting commissioned art is knowing you have something that an awesome creative person put a lot of love and effort into, knowing they could take your idea and create something wonderful from it that you can't do yourself. AI "art" accomplished none of that.
