christ almighty how does one choose—Sex Girl Patrol? "Is He?" with the C/Kathys? Dipping areas? Or could it simply be the brief interlude cataloguing Scott Thompson's various celebrity doppelgangers, that culminates in a pretty uncanny Jeffrey Dahmer:

don't hug me I'm porksweats@porksweats.bsky.social

what's your favorite kids in the hall skit that's not girl drink drunk or the daves i know

An EXTREMELY selfish Kickstarter in that I'm just making the editions of these books that I've always wanted—cannot put into words how much love and care we've poured into every aspect this project!📚🩵 ...and it's no accident that @gilespink.bsky.social now has a writing credit on the Book of D'ni 👀

Prepare for an adventure that spans Ages with a new ultra-deluxe hardcover collection of the Myst novel trilogy - available for the first time in nearly three decades. Coming soon to Kickstarter! https://cyan.com/ks/trilogygow/soc0908

Zoë drew this for me when my dog Sparky passed away and I have cherished it for OVER A DECADE, I cannot recommend her services enough:

I'm open for commissions! You get some cartoony and original art, AND you help me pay for things like childcare and groceries! You can't lose! Please visit vgen.co/zoemoss to submit a request!

SUCH a lifelong dream to get to work on a new game set in the Myst universe. ♥️📖 Still hope we’ll get to see it through someday, but I’m thrilled we can share the trailer:

Cyan Worlds@cyan.com

Over a year ago, we built a prototype for a new Myst Universe game meant for publisher eyes only. This project is NOT in active development, but we're proud of the work the team did, and wanted to share it with you all. Presenting: Project Anglerfish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvNGt02yZNc

LOOK the contacts in IWTV absolutely make sense from a production standpoint—I'm sure its prohibitively expensive to do vfx for the vampire eyes throughout the entire series—but sometimes I just GOTTA do a quick repaint to see the proper eyelines on my sweet baby bug-eyed boy

one curse of working on properties you love is losing the ability to participate freely in fan spaces—there'll be some lore discourse in the Myst discord and, best case scenario, I just gotta sit there VIBRATING with information I cannot possibly share

I think the landing happened but the film we have seen was staged. Our phones still cut out if we go too far from cell towers or underground. You're telling me they had a clear connection from the Moon to Houston? That shit was filmed somewhere in Utah lol

I'm not sure if folks know that all the art for Neopets Magazine was still done by the in-house Neopets art team! Very little was outsourced back then when it came to merch/tie-ins, which was kinda unheard of at the time. A couple of my spreads, from my last summer working at Neopets:

New to the library: we've digitized the complete run of Neopets The Official Magazine. Yes, Neopets! It's important game history, and here's why:

The only thing Beckett handled was the atrocious airbrushed treatment on the covers—we'd send over our line art and they'd promptly ruin it 😑👍 I'm only just now realizing that, they added a basket of fruit to the counter on my Usul bakery cover, hilarious:

if i seem laid back and relaxed to you, it’s an elaborate ruse - i actually carry the kind of tension that makes massage therapists and other health professionals say “wow” and “oh no”

While I'm at it I also got to design the achievement icons for the Riven Remake, in the style of Catherine's journal illustrations—a totally different vibe, despite referencing a lot of the same imagery:

Just got back from a week-long art intensive studying horse anatomy with Terry Whitlatch out at New Masters Village in Mancos, CO! I've followed Terryl's work for over 20 years, and her passion and expertise is unmatched—feeling challenged, refreshed, and like I want to draw a bajillion horses. ♥️🐎

The week was made up of a whole lot of classroom time, balanced with hands-on horse sessions and some fun creature/character exploration on the last day—my brain is completely fried, but I have ZERO regrets. Can't recommend the lovely team out at New Masters Village enough.

I have like 17 hours logged in Thirsty Suitors because I was enjoying cooking so much that I kept putting off endgame.♥️ SUCH a stylish game, and one where the specificity of the narrative and the setting is exactly what makes it so good:

We made a pretty good coming of age story game but most players won’t even give it a chance because it’s got too much color. We’re not all that different in love, relationships, and generational issues. I promise you can relate to these characters. store.steampowered.com/app/1617220/...

havin' a real Old Man Yells at Cloud moment here, but I do chuckle watching someone brute force their way through Riven in a couple hours by crowd-sourcing hints when I played that game over the course of, like, an entire month back in 1997

the ideal Riven play experience is actually brainstorming puzzle solutions with your buddy on the bus to middle school while you draw fanart of your Myst OCs on the back of your math homework, I don't make the rules

it was a pleasure getting to work alongside Robyn to capture these hi-res renders of Riven and Age 233 for the vinyl, so nice to see it in the wild! #rivenremake

The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.
