I've been experiencing a lot more confort in watching anime than playing videogames lately. Watching Rurouni Kenshin (2023) dubbed feels so nostalgic, since most the VAs sound extremely like their predecessors! And the stories have enough little twists from OG to keep me glued to the screen. ^_^x

Without a shadow of a doubt. It was StarTropics. It was the coolest thing ever, and it still holds that title today. It was a harsh blow to realise as a teen that it was nowhere near as popular as I thought. I used to take a red yoyo with me EVERYWHERE. It had that much of an impact on me.

My beef with this is, it's not that it can't survive without it. Every Power Ranger movie has survived without sentai (unsure Turbo) It's the push that the suits look like what sci-fi police would use, instead of building off or properly modernizing the spandex what gets me.

I like to think it makes canonical sense thst Dr.Light had already built these in hindsight for X through Classic Mega Man. So now I don't have to wonder when he designed X boot thrusters if he was already gone.

If Hasbro ever gets the nerve to make a Power Rangers movie. I don't want another reboot. I want a (left to be interpreted as a) prequel to Power Rangers in Space. With Andros (obviously recast) and his original team. Space was universally well received, and has the MMPR color scheme. DO IT!

Captain Planet 50% shaped me (the other 50% is Power Rangers) It doesnt make my top 10 cartoons of all time. But I still love it. And as an even bigger Swat Kats fan I shoukd DESPISE it. But I can't. The power is yours!
