My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

How did this speak to me as nothing else ever has, making me gasp with blazing, breathless hope? (In detail and impassioned in Si Hart’s Library of Impossible Things)

Well can't argue with this one. I think this is the song I've heard live the most. Almost every single Neil Finn gig I've been to has featured this beautiful song. Do you want my presence or need my help? Who knows where that might lead?

Can you help #DoctorWho #TargetBookClub? BBC Books had organised a Target Book Shop but it's fallen through. Do you know a cuddly trader who'd like a free table to sell Dr Who books? Maybe old Targets like the market stalls of our childhood?

An amazing crossover event!

Chigley (20th October 1969). Everyone from Camberwick Green, Trumpton and Chigley has turned up to see Lord Bellborough and the Mayor take to the skies in a hot air balloon.

Here is the clock. The Trumpton clock. Telling the time... steadily, sensibly; never too quickly, never too slowly... Telling the time for Trumpton!

"You look so beautiful when you're angry." Sarcophagus is a masterpiece and Frazer absolutely nails why here. A beautiful, mysterious episode that shouldn't work but really does. This is one of my favourites of them all. And Frazer is absolutely right to highlight that look at the end. Magnificent!

The best run of #Blakes7 stories comes to a brilliant, beautiful, bold end with Sarcophagus. See just how batshit I thought it was here: boxofflashinglights.wordpress.com/2026/10/19/s...
