Went to the dealer to sell them my 2009 Kawasaki Concourse 1400, the greatest motorcycle ever made... and they already have a 2009 Connie for sale. So they are changing some fluids instead. End of an era? Too bad. Motorcycling is fun.

Why on earth should the Federal Government forgive student loans? This has never made a whit of sense to me. Why not my hoem loan or to pay off my car? One should never take out debts they don't intend to or can't pay off. It is both dumb and immoral to the others you saddle with the bill.

I just stood in front of a parked truck with a 60" hood. It came to my neck. This was half a block from where a murder wagon (Silverado?) ran over five people on the weekend, killing one. Texas plates in Colorado tell you everything. I am very biased, though. I lived there twice. Texans often suck.

Paying someone was more difficult and fraught with danger when I was younger. You kept your own record of the balance and a simple math error on your part makes the rent check bounce. Now I swipe my watch and a spreadsheet is notified. Then we did lots of math adding $748.57 and $23.19.

Process: 1. Carry your check book. 2. Sign and add date, payee, amount and amount written out (typically in cursive!). 3. Flip to the ledger and write all that information over again. 4. Add or subtract the transaction for what you think is your balance. If the Bank disagrees, it is your fault.

I am guessing from the pictures that it was a 300 hp, 5000 pound Silverado, outweighing the victim by, what?, 30 to 1. These vehicles should be banned. Instead we give 'light trucks' a looser fuel efficiency standard and a business write off if they are above a certain weight. If I were king.
