toying around with GPT5.5 a bit more, narrowed down a crash in Whistler 2202's CD-ROM drive to be a drive numbering change between 2195 and 2202 where instead of manually setting the CD-ROM drive number, it used InterlockedIncrement(0) and caused it to appear as \Device\CdRom1 and break everything

so i guess i've completely underestimated how powerful chatgpt's become because why can it make a Windows 1.0 DR5 .RES decompiler and can make PNGs out of whatever ancient ICO/CUR format it has this is actually kinda cool wtf
