I genuinely propose that we have a law limiting the amount of added sugar per volume of an edible product We already ban artificial trans fat

Sometimes I think about how the most incredible people I know also have to eat, shit, sleep, and shower like I do. That they also probably zone out sometimes and joke about dumb things. It reminds me that we aren't that much different

Always thought Google would come ahead in the AI race from the sheer amount of data they control on the internet. Surprised that the best they have out there is still just Gemini 3.1 Pro/3.5 Flash, which are benchmarking worse than many other models They seem to be falling behind

Always believed it was a matter of time for Google to catch up to OpenAI Gemini 2.5 Pro still beats the hell out of GPT4.1 in a long context

> Jule makes an automated suggestion to fix something > Writes an incomplete monologue and asks to approve > Approves itself and starts making change what a joke of a product

Using models through Github Copilot is a joke. They seem to be limited to 125k token context window and the 5-hour usage limit is so small I couldn't even get through a single chat session with it. It wasn't even a long session. I was resolving ONE bug!

Also, I can't believe how they did a build up to the "wiggle to Gemini" like it's a comparable to the right click. Forget accessibility! Forget any other applications, like games, that does or could mistakenly be taken as a wiggle! It's just another feature to disable.

Besides the point, but I never understood cultural appropriation. If someone took Hanbok and wore it however, I'd just first think, "Hey, they like our style!" I'd rather have some elements of my culture spread than to gatekeep it just because they don't share my background.

Anyway, keffiyehs don’t have to be “earned”. In fact, I and pretty much every other Palestinian I know love to see how many folks wear them now. So if you’re waiting on permission to get one, here’s your Palestinian card 💳 www.kufiya.org

Opencode with Gemini 3.1 Pro keeps looking through my repo and restarting containers through docker when I explicitly, repeatedly tell it the service is managed externally with Komodo Bought ChatGPT plus to see if it's a model issue GPT 5.4 still does the same thing Is it Opencode? 🤔

I am strongly against the proposal in NY banning AI from giving medical advice. This will force people to manually conduct research - and they are worse at it than you might think. The core issue is the lack of sufficient education and guardrails against the misuse of AI, not AI itself.

As much as I'm excited that they are supporting a new platform, my experience with it has been terrible. I'd give it a year before UI actually feels like it was made for android. Right now it feels like a desktop game with touch controls emulating interactions. Some aren't even functional.

PlayWarframe@warframe.com

#Warframe on Android is available worldwide! Download and play to receive a free Cumulus Collection before March 4. Full details available here: wrfr.me/4ksSdIN

Examples: - some elements need to be held for more detail. The detail shows up under my thumb. - I can't tell how you interact with some elements that are usually tabbed through - Elements in corners are too difficult to tap on screens with rounded corners.

Having used Google AI Plan through free 16 month trial I got for being a student, I can safely say it's a garbage compared to ChatGPT. It recalls info from previous chats so terribly. Its not that I don't want personalization; Gemini just sucks so bad at it. Also, no projects/folder organization.

This is an authoritarian power grab, full stop. Nationalizing elections would put the executive branch in control of who votes and how. That’s how dictators rig outcomes, crush opposition, and assault democratic self-government. This should alarm everyone: www.ms.now/news/trump-s...

ms.nowTrump suggests federal control of elections in ‘some areas’In a lengthy interview with NBC, the president said he will accept the results of the midterm elections if they are “honest.”

A big reason why healthy habits are hard is because the benefits are so invisible and long term. You don't notice the lack of back pains. You don't notice the lack of diabetes. It's hard to know how healthy you are until you're not. And even if you aren't healthy, you think, "well, that's normal".

Is there a way for twitter/bsky/mastodon to do a significantly better job filling the missing information/perspective to those sharing their thoughts? Most people scroll and consume within their bubble. Those who post also mostly communicate with their bubble. What can we do get people out of them?

I wish social media platforms could kind of tell me, where a certain content stands in the relative vector space to other existing content, if that makes sense? Kind of like a text embedding. And then, I want it to be easy to explore the vector space, find consensus within sub-bubbles, etc.

I like how easy it is to post on Twitter/Bsky, but a part of me wish there is an incentive to base it in some truth or real, verified events. Or at least, punish misinformation not just through manual moderation, but systematically. Maybe you want to fit yourself into a vector space? Or avoid?

Community Notes is honestly one of the best addition to Twitter. Surfacing needed context/correction is a step forward, but it still relies on people to find these bubbles and fill the gap. I wish the platform made it much easier for relevant info/perspective to supplement posts in the first place.

And I don't mean to glaze Twitter - I don't post there for a good reason - but the Grok button has been very helpful as well. While imperfect, LLMs are some of the best tools for the job. It's still very manual; the user has to click on it. It still can't share other existing HUMAN perspectives.

I didn't know it was going to take Anthropic becoming the villain for Github Copilot to officially support OpenCode. Super excited to use Gemini 3 Flash for most of my workflow

This year's CES is incredibly disappointing. For CONSUMER Electronics Show, NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel are busy marketing to companies how they should buy their shovel before the bubble pops. Oh except, there is no bubble, according to them.

I can't believe we live in a time where I use a Microphone at home That sends audio to a cloud server That gets processed by the SOTA LLM To make a request to a third party service That also runs on a cloud server Finally coming back to my home To turn on a light bulb in my living room

Is it too radical to think modern building blocks of society, like internet infrastructure and social media, should be supported by a non-profit organization that's funded by people and led by individuals elected into it democratically? yes I'm describing a government
