First time visit to Holmfirth Picturedrome last weekend. Wasn’t disappointed as the venue is excellent. Went to see The Devout, a Depeche Mode tribute band, who were great and did over 2.5 hours!!! Highly recommend seeing them 👍

Yesterday’s entertainment at the Royal Exchange watching Johnny Vegas and a star-studded cast in the sold out ‘Road’. A very different night at the theatre and won’t spoil the fun for those who are going but…get there early and is the intermission really an intermission? 🎭🤔🪩

One from last weekend - Maximo Park were as good as ever on Saturday night at Victoria Warehouse. With Art Brut in support I definitely recommend catching them on tour over the next few weeks! 🎸

Finally finished this fine memoir. Pat Nevin is still one of my favourite footballers, despite never playing for Manchester United, not only for the way he played the game but also for his legendary great taste in music! ⚽️🎸

Saturday night at the Bootleg Social in Blackpool. Great venue and the Bluetones were on excellent form. Top support from Balter who are definitely worth a listen. And the last train back to Manchester was actually running and on time - a fine evening at the seaside 🍺🎸👍

McTominay was excellent last night and it was a mistake for #mufc to sell him but definitely the right move for him - was under-appreciated at United & Conte has tweaked his usual system to get the best out of him.

Scott McTominay scored twice — with Romelu Lukaku also getting a goal — as Napoli beat Empoli to close the gap to Inter at the top of Serie A to three points... Six games left — who will win the Scudetto this year?

Looking forward to this 👍

Stereolab (@stereolabgroop.bsky.social) have announced "Instant Holograms on Metal Film," their first new album in 15 years, and shared its first single, “Aerial Troubles,” via a music video. www.undertheradarmag.com/news/stereol...

View from East Stand upper at the end of the Derby. Not a great game but United were the better team and deserved more. Last 2 games United have arguably been the better team yet only 1 point to show for it due to a lack of quality up front. But definite improvements so happy enough tonight 👺 #mufc

Last night’s gig - Deacon Blue at the Bristol Beacon. Enjoyable enough gig despite the talkers behind us 🙄. Really impressed by the Beacon - no heavy-handed security, great sound, decent view of the stage. The Beacon & Bristol generally get a big thumbs up from me 👍 #Bristol #Beacon

Last night’s entertainment - and it was a bit of comedy for a change. An enjoyable couple of hours at the Lowry in Salford watching Milton Jones and warm-up act The Honourable Tom Houghton. Good stuff despite a slightly surreal crowd

Hope this will have a UK release #pavement

The first full trailer for "Pavements" has been shared. It’s a hybrid documentary/biopic on the iconic ’90s alternative rock band Pavement. Alex Ross Perry directed the film, which features the band but also stars Joe Keery as frontman Stephen Malkmus. www.undertheradarmag.com/news/pavemen...

Franz Ferdinand were magnificent last night at the Barrowlands. I was expecting a great gig in their home city but it was one of the best I’ve been to in my many years of gig going 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🪩🎸 #franzferdinand #barrowlands

Another depressing day at Old Trafford - I’m just surprised I didn’t have an email from Jim today to say we’d been charged an additional tenner for the extra time and penalties ☹️ #mufc

Love going to gigs but the fees are getting ridiculous. 2 x £32.50 Heaven 17 tickets end up being £80.15 with Ticketmaster. That’s over 23% of fees. How can it all be justified? Shopping around does save (See Tickets are a few quid cheaper) but not sure why it can’t be a flat 10% as it used to be 🤷🏼‍♂️

View from the East Stand Upper and a night that left me wondering what is happening to the club I’ve supported forever. We won with 10 men, so should be happy, but things on and off the pitch are just not right and not sure spending £50 to be threatened by a fellow supporter is really worth it ☹️
