💿 What album are you listening to today? #AlbumsCommunity

Lovely Bluesky folks I’m after some Dublin recommendations. Visiting a mate who recently for various reasons doesn’t get out as much as they’d like to. Any good bar/music recommendations welcome. I’ve been loads of times over the last 25+ years but not for a while. Thanks!

Currently enjoying the spacey electronic dub vibes of 'Whatever Happened To Utopia?' by Astralasia. www.youtube.com/playlist?lis... Qobuz: open.qobuz.com/album/zzo48r...

Hate on Phil Collins all you like, but it remains a cold hard fact that Duke is such a banger of an album: youtube.com/playlist?lis...

I keep repeating the first 10 seconds thinking how smart Daft Punk were to turn it into an entire song! open.qobuz.com/track/47232449

Goin' in. ^S

Fouracres as Andrew as Palpetine! 🤣 #SNLUK

How did Phil ever come up with the fill on this track? It’s impossible. 😅 open.qobuz.com/track/45055426 youtu.be/B0awdorlQTk?...

Soul vibes are good vibes. Great track and album from Leon Bridges. Qobuz album link: open.qobuz.com/album/to6lu7...

Hat tip to @rcdubya.bsky.social for helping me discover this excellent track. Good disco vibes! Qobuz link to the four track EP: open.qobuz.com/album/qyhuqn...

Excellent way to start the weekend. And now onto a little something from @rcdubya.bsky.social. www.mixcloud.com/RCDUBYA/feb-...

Been worrying that young people aren’t going to gigs. Was proven wrong last night and that brings me joy. Small respectful mosh pit brought a smile to my face. We need to protect these sacred spaces for young people to gather in real life, in person with other people. Live music is key.

Have we all seen that Sub Pop are doing a TV station thing on YouTube? Basically it's just a nonstop channel of random videos from Sub Pop's archive. Good fun! www.youtube.com/live/SLI9dLH...

New Zealand Spy. An excellent comedy series. 😆

Finally Fouracres! #SNLUK

Make a band edible: Prince and the New Flour Fermentation

Fouracres forgets black pudding. 😆 #SNLUK

“Don’t do it.” “It’s part of it!” 🧘 #SNLUK

Fouracres as Burnham. Had to be! #SNLUK

#SNLUK in 10 minutes. Let’s go!

Incredible TJ bass plus Joe Armon-Jones keys at their best on this track. Wonderful new Ezra Collective album: Here Because of Hope. The song “Black Flag”. Wow! open.qobuz.com/track/416410...

Essential listening for fans of Underworld.

For Those That Like To Get Down, Vol. 6 by Micky More & Andy Tee. Too good! 💃🏼🕺🏻 open.qobuz.com/album/vwqa7b... The keys and guitar interplay on the song "Golden High" are 😍. Damn it's funky! youtu.be/aSlxtq7dE9M?...

Could imagine this mid set during a blinding @ono-ch1.bsky.social evening! 🪩 Either the Soft Vox Edition or original Extended Mix, the latter being more familiar cos of the vocals/lyrics. A recent discovery via Shazam whilst on holiday. Cc: @andydunn295.bsky.social @mickydoodah.bsky.social.

Perfect album for a Portuguese sundowner.

💿 Yes Weezer! Finally another good album. In fact, I reckon a brilliant album! Been gutted how mediocre they became. But their latest rocks. Classic guitar riffs, quirky lyrics and raw energy. 'Weezer' (Gold album) by Weezer. open.qobuz.com/album/eust0m...

💿 Album of the week. 'fata morgana' by L'Rain. There's some Prince in here. I can feel it. What a special album. Qobuz: open.qobuz.com/album/g0zfnw... YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAI6...

Can you recommend a local garage that does wheel alignment? Best group WhatsApp typo ever.

Damn funky. The drum production is on fire. Plus the use of the left right mix is spot on. ‘All Around’ by The Womack Sisters. open.qobuz.com/track/409498...

The opener of "The Sulphur Man" by Doves gets me every time. What a tune, what an album and what a band! Still the best UK indie band to have every graced this planet. Qobuz link to track: open.qobuz.com/track/4914705 Qobuz link to album: open.qobuz.com/album/072438...
