I pray for the day that women characters can be evil, murderous, and angry without needing a redemption arc or to be "likeable" We need to stop demanding that women, fictional or not, be as likeable as possible to the men around them (or writing them)

This is why Promising Young Woman failed as a story, this is why Wuthering Heights 2026 sucks, why TLOU season 2 fucking sucked, like this need to cast women characters as flimsy fucking empty vessels to be likeable to men audiences is ruining so many stories
