There are good days and there are bad days by which I really mean, some days I'm good to draw for hours, and some days the fine motor skills end at (or before) painfully peeling a peach

I'm not complaining too much (well I am) because through this frustrating recovery (years at this point) I'm blessed with very thoughtful doctors, and that helps very much !

I've been working on new pins & necklaces, fanzine merch and illustrations, and client work these past weeks, which means I have nothing new to share - and it's the first time in a while that I'm not anxious at all about it. I'll have thing to show when they're ready to show 😌

I know it was always self-imposed, but it was easy enough when I was on top of things, and turned unnecessarily stressful when I no longer was. Being free from this pressure (especially in this economy) feels so much lighter. Things do in fact take time to make !

I was so touched by all the Outer Wilds love at last con it only made me want to draw more 🥹 June was a painting-heavy, frustration-heavy month, I'm looking forward to trying things out now 🖤

I love having to dodge automatic price increases for every software ! Keeps me on my toes ! Just today I had to refuse a SumUp upgrade "unless you click this button at the bottom of the email within 3 days" and refuse a $12 Adobe monthly extra by switching manually to the standard (less AI) package

Went through the scheduled bi-annual intense frustration with everything I come up with, and I don't know if I'm through yet, or if I learned many things this time around, but I now have half a million assorted sketches that are begging to be finished

Ever since I was a little girl (almost) I knew I couldn't figure out any angle that isn't straight on eye-level, and I still don't know why that is, but it haunts me !
