OMG I JUST FOUND A WAY TO ARCHIVE SOME GAMES ON PHYSICAL MEDIA FOR 500 YEARS!!! Sorry for the caps excited. Working out the details and it's going to be so cool.

Wanted to make my own Myst Online URU Live server since it was announced in 2011. I got it up and running but the instructions can be better, a lot better. I think I will do that and do a PR. but its up and running and even added a dark mode for the launcher.

I have all the Dark Tower series in hardback, except for the gunslinger. I really want that in hardback but happy that I got Wind Through the Keyhole in hardback

I am 99% finished with Zelda a link to the past PC port just bug fixes. I’m working on the PC Big Box now. I’m adding multi player to 1992 Wolf3D. Thanks to AI this work feels wasted. These will be my last projects like this.

I've been working on adding multiplayer to the 1992 Wolfenstein 3D game for a while now. So that is why I need sprites since there is no sprites for him on the side, from the back. Working on this with a friend and hope to be finished by DOScember. It'll have Deathmatch,Co-op and capture the flag.

Been working hard on this feature. I also renamed the project ALLTP-DX. I am also going to add an option for players can add their own achievement sets.

I spent 6 hours fixing a water splash animation in the Link to the Past PC port I'm making. I figured it out and its a bug that was in the original. Adding Widescreen revealed it. So cool I fixed a 35 year old bug. What is even cooler is the splash animation has the full frames no one saw until now.

Rewriting the entire widescreen support for the PC port for Zelda A Link to the Past. This is how the game handles going from widescreen to a 4:3 room and vice versa. It turned out better than I thought. It's 100% smooth not sure why screen capture is doing. My guess is screen cap went to happy hour

I was curious how much the upgrade to the Witcher 3 Remastered was going to be. Turns out I got it for free. I am shocked but also extremely happy a game company still does the right thing.

Q: Why not Rust? A: No

For Zelda’s 40th anniversary, I ported snesrev/zelda3 from C to Zig + SDL3 and started building the A Link to the Past PC release I always wanted with modern PC features, randomizer tools, modding support, and eventually a full PC Big Box.

So playing Nighthawks by @wadjeteyegames.com and I have to say its amazing game. Please pick it up. I am so happy I made a Physical Edition. I am giving all the devs a copy as well. They worked hard on this game and it shows. Also not sponsored I love supporting Indies that make great games!

For modding, I built zelda3-tools. It can extract and rebuild maps, dungeons, dialogue, sprites, fonts, music and other assets using formats like YAML, text and PNG. The port can also compare itself against the original game frame-by-frame for accuracy.

Features so far: • Windows, Linux & Apple Silicon builds • PC launcher + in-game settings • Widescreen modes • Controller rumble • Keyboard/gamepad remapping • MSU audio • L/R item switching • Autosave • Extra item controls • ALTTPR Support

I also added ALTTPR support with an automatic tracker. It can track inventory, hearts, crystals, dungeon progress, bosses, keys and map checks, and can run beside the game, as an overlay, or in its own window.

I have to give huge thanks to @drguillotine.bsky.social for working with me to make the Colossal Collectors Editions and its been a real good collaboration. Just accepting each others ideas and working together made it all possible. More Collectors Editions are shipping out in cool shipping boxes.

Something I learned from the decompilation and C port of Zelda Alttp is that if you don't use any of Nintendo's assets. I wrote a program to pull the data quick from a ROM you just drag and drop on the window. Trying to make it easy to extract the assets.
