Ive been going back to songs/projects that i used to listen to back during covid or before i got FL studio, and i really have been taking musicality for granted. I feel like, in my opinion, there has been a loss of that, and more of a focus on “how cool something sounds”

Laying in bed listening to these songs for like, 3 hours kind of helped me realize all this. Music is so special to me, if i had been stuck in that moment with nothing but the fan noises in the background, i would have broke

Music shouldn’t be about whether or not something sounds cool or sounds bland, i never fell in love with those songs because of that. It was because of their melodies and ability to stick into my head, almost wrapping me into a hug.

I got hit with a wave last night, some mental stuff. Listening to all these songs felt so comforting. They weren’t trying to impress me, it was almost as if they were there just to help me get through things. I feel like that piece of music has been lost recently

Was trying to shorten this into a one-post type of thing but i have more to say, sorry guys I feel like there’s been such an emphasis on complexity when it comes to music recently. I’ve fallen into that hole of “does this sound cool enough”

I’m not dead music wise, been having laptop issues to the point where it won’t work entirely, can’t do anything 😭 Got a lot of stuff planned out and hopefully soon in the works, just gotta get these next chapters figured out

Can we stop going out of our way to trash on people who use AI? Look, I hate it as much as the next person, I see it as lazy and it looks bad, but if someone uses AI for their cover arts, so be it. You’re not any better by going out of your way just to shit on them for it. 🤯
