We did not address this three weeks ago but it’s time we do now. Liz you’re making a mistake in logic here putting accounts across multiple lists is necessary because it signals that they are a multifaceted threat. supporting a known abuser and dangerous individual like luaurlai Bailey is bad

it's misuse of your lists to mark it as "right-wing propaganda and followers" and "homophobe/transphobe" though. even if you believe Laurelai and Doll should be blocked, forcing that decision on others on a list that clearly says that it is for some other category of thing is a violation of trust.

We have also had a run-in with this moderation labeler. It is operating in bad faith and putting multiple well-known activists, researchers and academics on it in what appears to be a coordinated effort to. Karl is an indispensable account but more importantly that moderation service is a threat.

Steve Townsend the person running that moderation list is a member of what is called the bonds dog network. Which was a well-known far right network on Twitter. The bonds dog network trolled much of the west coast Twitter sphere as well as other spaces. bsky.app/profile/wher...

This is absolutely true, and it appears that blue sky has no mechanism to change this for the moment. Blue sky fully is working to protect transphobes and other fascists while attacking accounts that correctly label them as bigots and fascists

Another resist account and nafo account that has earned a place in a number of our blocklists. Check what lists you are using as a large number of these accounts are using them in bad faith and making it nearly impossible to use lists confidently, this account targets academics and anti fascists.

We will be more active as we can be alerting people to large accounts that need to be reported for various issues. The resist networks have been using follow backs to build large accounts that then target certain specific groups and individuals with their blacklists.

We have placed people like Jackie Singh and Jim Stewartson into our list correctly because they are Nazi affiliated conspiracy theorists who target actual researchers and experts with violence because those experts countered their conspiracy theories and lies.

Jackie Singh also works with and has repeatedly used neo-Nazis to create lists of activists She wants to attack and has literally use those lists to try and insight violence against them. She was fired from the Biden White House for working with a known neo Nazi named weev.
