Not nearly as important as many of the things I've seen mentioned, but entry level guitars. You can now buy a new guitar and with a decent setup, gig with it for a couple of hundred dollars.

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

Will any of this money reach the blue states though? Trump seems to dislike blue states more than he likes red voters in blue states.

top farming/diesel consuming states: TX, IA, CA, MN, IL, KS, NE, ND, MO, IN in that order- so any relief will likely impact farmers in these states mainly

Pretty sure he wouldn't care about "details" if it were a Democrat.

Q: Do you have any reaction to a US ambassador asking someone to pay off debt in exchange for access to other government officials? VANCE: Well, so -- with that hypothetical, obviously I don't love that, but I, you know, I don't know exactly who you're talking about, I don't know the full details

I honestly didn't believe that he said this when I first saw it, but here we are. I'm guessing the service members at bases in and around LA and San Diego are thrilled with this.

Trump on Iran: Let 'em take out Los Angeles and San Diego, it's a small price to pay

This will sure help bring gas & food prices down!

BREAKING WSJ: The Trump Justice Department is reviewing whether the special prosecutor's office that investigated Watergate committed misconduct. A revisionist historian went to DOJ HQ to present his case that Richard Nixon and his associates weren't treated fairly.

Hard to imagine what that would be like

Marco Rubio: "Anything that had a chance of making money in Cuba was controlled by the Cuban military and the Cuban communist party to line the pockets of a handful of individuals at the expense of the entire country"

I wholeheartedly agree. All Republican candidates should be leaning hard into Trump's policies. Please. Shout them from the rooftops! Iran! Tariffs! Diesel! Gas!!!!

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

NEWSNATION: How much room is the RNC giving candidates to separate themselves from the president when it comes to the war? RNC CHAIR JOE GRUTERS: We think what the president has delivered in terms of messaging is a winner. I say they lean in to the policies this president has pushed and you'll win.

This reads like an 8 year old planning something. "Oooohhh and it'll have a space for drones! And ... snipers. It'll have little windows for the snipers to shoot out of. And ... and ... ammo! It'll space for ammo in here! This'll be the ammo room!"

Just like with the ballroom, another scam by Trump to turn this into a “military complex” to prevent the courts from intervening by using “national security” as his excuse for vanity projects.

The inside of a data center is one of the lonliest places on earth. These folks have obviously never been in one.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

EMMER: Our enemy -- China -- is trying to stop us from beating them in the AI war by frustrating our ability to build data centers BARTIROMO: Yeah. It is an industrial revolution part 2 with the amount of jobs and build out from these data centers, and it's certainly helping the economy as well

Wouldn't we have burned through them even quicker in a war with China. Maybe they would have lasted weeks or days rather than months?

America Is Burning Through the Missiles It Would Need in a War With China Five months of war with Iran have reportedly depleted critical American strike weapons and sharply reduced estimated inventories of air-defense interceptors. theintellectualistofficial.substack.com/p/america-is...

Let's see 350 million people and 1% mortality rate is 3.5 million people dying? And he's OK with that? And he's a "pro-lifer"?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Rep. Ogles: "Look, I don't want to play down the effects of the virus, but at the end of the day it had a roughly 1 percent mortality rate. We coulda gotten through this."

They ever ask a maga representative if they're afraid that their right wing extremism will lead to fascism? Yeah didn't think so.

Acyn@acyn.bsky.social

Reporter: Isn’t there concern that this slippery slope to socialism inevitably ends up as full-blown communism? AOC: They want to call everything they don’t like communist because if people actually wake up to the fact that their elected officials are screwing them over when they get here

<sarcasm>I'm sure everyone is just devastated by this news. </sarcasm>

Algae are prolific producers of oxygen (and consumers of carbon dioxide), en masse producing a huge proportion of the oxygen we breathe, which means that the greening of the Reflecting Pool might be the most pro-climate thing Trump has ever done.

Friend back in the 80s: went are we widening the 405? We'll just have 5 backed up lanes not 4.
