October is over, and so is my time with my now-ex job. I hadn't got quite enough dirt to fill in the debt-hole, but I just won't work for a company that sees nothing wrong with using an AI actor to present its ethics videos 🙃 Taking a month to unwind and think about what I want to do next 😌 ☮️

The cool and apparently healthy oldguy at my work suddenly died over the weekend. He never got to retire. Folks, put everything you have into paying off debts and saving a little bit, then GET THE FUCK OUT OF CAPITALISM.

None of us NEED to play any social media's purity games. Writing HTML is as easy as writing words. Hosting a website is as easy as dropping an index.html into a folder. Link directly to your friends' sites. Bluesky can go "consensually" fuck a cactus.

Not tons of visible progress, but I'm switching over to godot for now because the editor is reminiscent of Flash and it's easier to just get stuff working... like parallax layers. Next I think it's time to make some new assets to design with - The fun part!

Hello Cube... thing. I don't understand texture mapping in Blender at all yet, so Love2D + g3d are just displaying the .obj wrapped in cobble_stone.png... also it's sideways?? I still have a lot of experimenting to do before I make a call on if I want to make a 3D or 2D game.
