I absolutely hate the antennas in MacBooks. My M2 MacBook Pro couldn't pick up a signal if it was two feet from the router. To fix this, I used my M2 Mac Mini as a Wi-Fi card and plugged my MacBook Pro into the Mac Mini’s Ethernet port. Problem solved.
