I dunno if its climate change or what but something is fucking the ticks up. They hatched too early this spring and got wiped out by a cold snap. Hardly seen a tick all summer. Then they hatched again a few days ago and they've got tiny little poppy seed size babies trying to overwinter.

One thing that bugs me is that people with very limited interests still have personalities. A personality is not the things you're interested in or do to sustain yourself, it's a set of personal qualities and preferences that persist across settings and activities!

Here in the society where we make people stay up for 72 hours at a time we're seeing a disturbing increase in so called sleep related illnesses we think are caused by tik tok. The teens are giving them to each other for fun. Probly.

In the Kamigata area, they have a sort of hot dog on a stick they use for a single day when flower viewing. Upon returning, they throw the sticks away, trampling them underfoot. The end is important in all things.
