As someone on SSDI I can't tell you how it hurts to listen to people speak about Social Security and Medicare but fail to mention the populations who subsist on these programs: Seniors: 77.8% Survivors: 11.2% People w/Disabilities: 11% It's very crucial in our messaging to ensure EVERYONE is seen.

As a Buddhist, I believe in non-violence to solve our problems. I have yet to see those condemning the left for lionizing Luigi Mangione even once criticize the right’s vile embrace of Kyle Rittenhouse, or Trump and Vance inviting Daniel Penny to be their political prop at a football game.

Sickening hypocrisy.

Expecting people to be sad about the murder of a man who leveraged a broken industry (that companies like his broke in the first place) to make personal millions while making healthcare a privilege and squeezing out the poorest people, is a fundamental misunderstanding of the mood in this country.

It's addictive behavior. It shares many similarities to drug addiction or gambling addiction. These people are obsessed with MORE and can never be satisfied. We need a term like alcoholism to describe addiction to grubbing for money while already fantastically wealthy. Greedaholism, or something.
