Anyone know someone who works for the #wnba, or a team like the #valkyries, especially in marketing? Here's a slam-dunk idea for their branding: partner with a quality makeup brand to sell team-specific makeup lines, have the players model them. Is this a no-brainer?

BREAKING: Meta launches three sizes of model (S, M, L) for its new Muse product, claiming its most sophisticated Meta Muse L is designed to clear the biggest blockers in your system and create personal flow like you've never seen before.

I wonder if lots of vocal public officials (e.g. Newsom, Pritzker, AOC, etc.) should be labeling Trump a pedophile rapist whenever they talk about him. By casually doing this all the time they can force people to either assimilate it into social consciousness or address it openly; either is good.

Out of all the convicted crypto scammers, why hasn't SBF been pardoned by Trump yet? Is it that he didn't grift hard enough? Or is it because the money kinda was going to some good stuff and Trump only likes it when it goes to bad stuff? What a stupid timeline we're in.

An example of the way I expect Democrats to fumble opportunities for reform, should they win power: they will find a way to add term limits to the Supreme Court .. but then out of "fairness", they'll concede that they shouldn't apply to any currently seated justices.

Ok, so the last 12 months haven't panned out like I hoped! There's always the next 12 months, and so on. In any case, go vote and help GET OUT THE VOTE so we actually earn another 12 months on this great blue planet.

There is going to come a day—maybe in August of next year, I hope it’s even sooner—when you start preparing dinner and you suddenly just collapse in elation as though shedding a great weight because you realize: nothing batshit insane and viscerally enraging happened today. Let’s get there, folks.

SCOTUS invoking "irreparable harm" to justify not stopping work on the ballroom is batshit fucking insane. It's a voluntarily construction project, it can be stopped. These are senseless partisan hacks, and Dems must immediately pack the court back into legitimacy if they regain the Senate.

If Dems get back in power, you need to WORK. Walk and chew gum at the same time. Prosecute the grifters and murderers AND make lives better for Americans. Progress on both is key or you will lose the thread and, unfortunately, may cede power again to christofascism.

Trump's USA 250 birthday UFC spectacle drew ~8 million viewers which is equivalent to *checks notes* the kind of somewhat interesting college football rivalry game that happens 30-40 times per season. I could take a high road but I'll just say: What a fucking loser. Tick tock, November is coming.

Well I don’t like to generalize about groups, but between us, is it safe to label all trillionaires as sociopathic assholes?

The semiquincentennial may be the shittiest, tackiest, lamest national fair yet, with the headliner a psychopath rambling for 90 minutes in the DC summer heat. Better still, all his lackeys have to pretend it's awesome, knowing it's terrible and this tire fire regime cannot attract any real artists.

Ok, Wemby is now one of my favorite non-Warriors players, along with Damian Lillard.

ex-Lethality Jane@lethalityjane.bsky.social

I just found out about Wemby three days ago but apparently he is a giant French nerd who baffles his fellow NBA players because he reads thick Brandon Sanderson fantasy novels on the plane and before games. So now he's my favorite player and this news is sad.

Seems pretty obvious we should have clear anti-usury laws that cover all consumer "financial transformation" (payday loans, structured settlements, etc.) to prevent abuse. Say, limit total fees to LIBOR + 10%. These services would remain profitable, available, useful, but without the exploitation.

You cannot call it a ceasefire if you are still shooting weapons at eachother. Period. Literally the opposite of the definition, fuck your spin.

I do not condone political violence, even if I can understand why people resort to it. And I'll also offer that a good way to prevent people from trying to kill you because they think you're Hitler is .. to stop acting like a crazy, murderous dictator?

We were traveling and I had to mix our kid’s antibiotic with 100ml of water, but all I had to measure with were 83ml and 133ml containers and I thought, holy shit it’s happening, a lifetime of 1990s math brainteasers have all led me to this, my Die Hard 3 moment, and it was glorious.

Hey do you remember when Mitt Romney said something clumsy like “binders full of women” and everyone went nope, can’t have that guy as our President? Those were the days. 12 years later we’ve got Pennywise’s dim grifter cousin, Baron Harkonnen, and Nazi Sméagol running roughshod over the country.

"Teen mental health is profoundly complex and cannot be linked to a single app." (Meta, 2026) Hmm, where have I heard this before? "Medical research of recent years indicates many possible causes of lung cancer... there is no proof that cigarette smoking is one of the causes." (Big Tobacco, 1954)

Can we publicly acknowledge that so long as members of SCOTUS are openly taking bribes and 1/3 of the members are adjudicating cases directly impacting their appointer, their decisions should not be considered legitimate binding precedent for future courts? Pack it and leave this corrupt era behind.

I can appreciate the investigative journalism used to uncover the tragic pattern of abuse from C Chavez and give a voice to his victims. I don’t love that they have prioritized those resources against history’s brown allies of labor instead of today’s white male privileged abusers and mass grifters.

If I were a fascist in the GOP, lost the '26 midterms and faced accountability, I would do as much as I could to sew chaos, distract the gov't, force it to fight endless fires to undermine its agenda: crash markets, make up scandals, create pain for citizens. Sooo 2027 is probably gonna suck too.

I think maybe we need a bill clearly defining war as something like "initiating deployment of munitions in a sovereign country." Full stop. I mean what the F are we even doing here, since 1950 we have allowed this doublespeak and we are now at the absurd consequence.

When the US drops bombs, destroying and disrupting lives around the world, it traumatizes people and they hate us using our power to create war, always on their soil. And it motivates them to bring the war to OUR soil. This is how terrorists are raised: it makes us LESS safe. Thanks, Trump.

Boy I bet the heads at FIFA are really regretting that Peace Prize right nooooh that’s right they are corrupt and have no shame.

Not bad Waymo, >400k fully autonomous rides/week! So let's see how many Tesla is doing so far: -- 0 Ok surely that's because you're taking your time on safety, right? -- Robotaxis are 40x more dangerous than Waymos Great work, Elon! I'm sure you're just "months away" from a better result.

If money concerns and breaking NDAs is really what’s holding back testimony from victims: 1) contracts covering crimes are illegal, 2) we can easily raise funds to keep victims whole if they must “pay back” the contract for breaking silence. So what’s left is physical protection, emotional support.

If the current tariffs were deemed illegal, can't we argue that whatever was in place was only MAYBE legal under Section 122, and it's already been more than 150 days, so he can't just start some "new" tariffs and reset the clock? Law should not allow new damage while existing damages still pending.

Hey, let's check in on how Elon Musk's near-term robotaxi promises have panned out! Ok this sounds about right, for a total charlatan and fraudster who makes stuff up just to sound good and keep investors excited—and misled. electrek.co/2026/02/16/t...

I think we should be VERY concerned about how many leaders (esp. safety researchers) at top AI companies are resigning with public statements about ethical disagreements with the company direction. It is EXCEEDINGLY rare for this to happen in general and it's occurred a lot in AI the last few years.

Hey! Remember how this whole MicroStrategy thing really took off, what are they leveraged on BitCoin about 2.5x maybe now? Well I love the idea of building a ponzi scheme on top of another one, let's check in on how that's go—oh that's a shame. www.bullionbypost.co.uk/bitcoin-pric...

This is the kind of creative legal resistance Dem leaders need to be coming up with and doing. Fuck norms and good faith, we are fighting fascists that respect neither. Do what you can and get results. @aoc.bsky.social run with it!

1/ Congressmembers should take turns notifying ICE facilities that they will inspect exactly 7 days from now, so that as many ICE facilities as possible have a "Congressional inspection" scheduled for every single day of the week. As I understand it, Congressmen can send their "staff" members to

Think about this. If someone would—and is empowered to—rape children, lie brazenly, treat others as subhuman, incite people to hate and kill, and execute grift after grift, all constantly and for their own benefit .. do you think they will stop short at cheating and killing people to stay in office?

There is going to come a day—maybe in August of next year, I hope it’s even sooner—when you start preparing dinner and you suddenly just collapse in elation as though shedding a great weight because you realize: nothing batshit insane and viscerally enraging happened today. Let’s get there, folks.

Epstein files confirm he introduced Trump to Melania. Yes: Jeffrey Epstein INTRODUCED Trump to his wife. The first most important moment in the relationship, that first meeting, brokered by that guy Trump says was awful and he barely knew. Amazing how much of a sham EVERYTHING is with these folks.

So, the president is credibly accused of raping children, stealing $10 billion cash from our treasury, killing moms, jailing journalists, and randomly committing war crimes, and MAGA gonna be like “Wait, but the price of hotdogs is still high?! Aw man fuck this guy!”

One thing I think we can all agree is incontrovertibly true is that if you are feeding a child black olives you must under no circumstance serve them fewer than five, one for each finger on their hand.

Damn, our president gives the term "Trumped up charges" a whole new meaning, doesn't he? Eh, amiright—oh .. oh, actually it is the same meaning, well how about that.

This woman is INSANE and a bald-faced liar. I just wish the ICE video could be playing in the background so she could narrate the part where the agent was supposed to be defending himself. Thank you @niallstanage.bsky.social for standing up to the administration, what every real journalist must do.

Acyn@acyn.bsky.social

Reporter: Renee Good was shot in the head and killed by an ICE Agent. Leavitt: Why was she killed? Reporter: Because an ICE agent acted recklessly and killed her unjustifiably Leavitt: You’re a left-wing hack. You’re not a reporter.

I can’t wait until they ask Johnson about this tomorrow and he says he hasn’t had time to catch up on it. I’m not sure whether I’ll be angrier about that or that the journalists don’t immediately slap him in the face.

I would love a real journalist to do a story on journalism, to interview journalists and editors to understand the motivations and pressures behind the questions they ask or don’t ask, the stories they run and don’t run. Why don’t we know this stuff?

The most infuriating thing is Trump and the media have normalized “ending the war” with some kind of deal. This is not just like, folks are disagreeing violently, it’s bad, stop fighting you two. One of them clearly just INVADED the other and ANYTHING other than kicking them the fuck out is madness.
