Just a few hours ago, President Trump said in the Oval Office that I should be tried in court because I dared to talk about the corruption coming out of the White House.

Friendly reminder: agriculture is the number 2 industry in Michigan, after manufacturing. And we’re the number 1 most diverse agricultural state in the country (meaning lots of different kinds of farms, not just row crops) with regular access to water!

Not just the tragedy and heroism that we saw on that day, but the way the country came together in the weeks that followed. It’s something that we’re missing today, but that I’m grateful I know we’re capable of.

Thank you to all the students who gave me the grand tour of Lawrence Tech’s architecture and engineering programs. They’ve got everything here from concrete canoes to a chamber where they test the impact of extreme weather conditions on bridges.

The students I spoke to are passionate about their projects, and are learning skills that will directly translate into the workforce. Our toughest problems are going to need bold solutions, and I have no doubt these students will be able to deliver.

This is not the first time this president has tried to weaponize the justice system against me. At his direction, earlier this year, the Department of Justice took me to a D.C. grand jury to have me criminally indicted for sedition. If President Trump had his way, I'd be in prison.

Thankfully, an anonymous group of Americans, whom I will never meet, voted unanimously that all I was doing was exercising basic free speech. So I know from experience, when it comes to weaponizing the government, the president says what he means, and he means what he says.

President Trump and Elon Musk have slowed down the critical Starlink satellite connection so that Ukrainians are more vulnerable to Russian attacks-- even further indication that Trump wants Putin to win this war.

Whether it is creating manufacturing jobs, securing federal investments in housing and infrastructure, or protecting homeland security missions at Battle Creek’s Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center, every leader I met within the Battle Creek community believed in working together.

Everyone was working off the same sheet of music and everyone wants to make this a completely thriving, self-sustaining place that can weather ups and downs. I look forward to continuing to work with local leaders to help whenever and wherever I can.

I had a great time visiting Eliza Howell Park with Sidewalk Detroit and learning more about the history of this 250-acre park, the community’s efforts to protect it, and the importance of preserving Detroit’s green spaces.

From restoring natural areas to reimagining how parks serve their neighborhoods, Sidewalk Detroit is working to advance spatial equity and change the narrative around Brightmoor.

Sen. Slotkin: “I'm not going to be intimidated out of standing up for the rule of law.” Caption: For nearly a year, Trump has targeted Senator Slotkin for one reason: she defended the Constitution & called out his corruption.

As tensions continue to rise in the Middle East, it’s important that Michiganders currently in the region or planning to travel there exercise caution. I wanted to give an update on safety recommendations the State Department has shared.

I recently visited the Detroit Institute of Arts for a tour of the Reimagine African American Art gallery, a look at the Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit, and a chance to take in more of what this amazing museum has to offer.

The DIA is a wonderful place to learn, explore, and experience something new. You don’t have to spend an entire day to enjoy it—even a short visit can be inspiring! With exhibits that change throughout the year, there’s always a reason to come back.

Here's what really happened with this Elissa Slotkin saga: She said that a Dem Congress will seek real accountability for Trump's enablers, and a bunch of MAGA goons decided this posed a major threat to their political project. Which it actually does! newrepublic.com/article/2168...

Just disgusting: Sen Elissa Slotkin made routine comments about the need for a Dem Congress to impose real accountability on the Trump administration, especially mid-tier enablers, and MAGA ginned up a two-minute hate over it. But she's 100% correct. New from me: newrepublic.com/article/2168...

newrepublic.comTrump’s Vile Tirade About Sen. Elissa Slotkin Exposes Sleazy MAGA ScamThe Michigan senator said nothing remotely alarming, but MAGA-world ginned it into a “controversy.” Democrats need to learn how to stand up to this nonsense.

If you commit a criminal act or use taxpayer dollars in a way that violates the law, you should be held accountable. President Trump and his allies have used manufactured outrage about what I said because they wanna talk about anything but what's going on right now in places like Michigan.

So why are the President and his allies attacking me? They are trying to distract from the real story of his failed agenda to lower your costs. To distract from the high price of gas.

If I've learned one thing from this past year, it's that you have to push back. I'm not going to be intimidated out of standing up for the rule of law and the country that has given me everything.

President Trump has always had a bromance with Vladimir Putin, and it’s clear he wants him to win this winter in Ukraine. So now he's lifting sanctions to help fuel Vladimir Putin and his war machine.

How do authoritarian tactics work? The goal is to create so many threats against you, your family, and your staff that you shut up. They wanna manufacture outrage. They all start repeating the same talking points. The goal is to crush your spirit. That fear becomes contagious. We can't let it.
