Seeking two research assistants with interests in biophysical modeling, aging and dementia, brain imaging, and closely related fields in computational and cognitive neuroscience. We seek recent graduates with high motivation and strong computational skills: labs.utdallas.edu/braincircuit....

Seeking two Postdoctoral Fellows in (i) Biophysical Modeling (thevirtualbrain.org) in People at Risk of Alzheimer Disease; (ii) Network Neuroscience of Naturalistic Language in Aging Risk Factors. We seek computationally sophisticated highly motivated PhD's: labs.utdallas.edu/braincircuit....

I highly recommend this intro to the philosophy of scientific explanation to all my neuroscience colleagues and others interested in how to think about scientific investigation and development of theory, e.g., it's highly relevant to our ongoing discussions about the brain organization of language.

William Labov died last week after a ground-breaking career at the intersection of language use and culture. His work on variability motivated me early on (doi.org/10.1006/brln...) and has since motivated our work on whole brain contributions to comprehension (doi.org/10.1101/2023...). Thank you.

Congratulations Annette! Very proud of you!

Very pleased to report that my open access article on precision medicine in neurology has finally appeared! Besides "-omics", discussion includes computation, devices, brain simulation (thevirtualbrain.org), and value-based care. Hope you find it useful! Take a look: doi.org/10.1016/j.ar...
