it'd be nice if video game pre-orders didn't fucking sell out for no reason, it's a pre-order the point is to lock in your one, but they sell out in seconds every time. it's so frustrating

every pre-order should just be what steam did for the controller at least then you know tjat you're going to get one scalpers NEED TO BE STOPPED.

oot remake looks like unreal type slop where every action comes with a billion particle effects, and they mix in original sound effects because they're not actually trying to reinvent the game they're just cashing in on nostalgia

i guarantee the experience won't actually be any different besides snappier pacing and flashier cutscenes and also annoying terrible anime dub voice acting

i don't even want the game to look the same, they just did a bad job.

they think they can trick people by adding in loads of unecessary detail to make the graphics "gooder" but forgot that oot 3D exists which ACTUALLY has higher fidelity graphics while not completely obliterating the original artistic vision

As you can see, Xbox held their presentation on 6/7, while Nintendo is holding theirs on 6/9. This is due to their core company missives; Nintendo holds fast to traditional (and successful!) gamer values, whereas Xbox is a brand that constantly tries to remain relevant by latching onto trends
