I'm going to be at Midwest Furfest this December. If you spot me, you can try the new Chromahertz build. ✌️⛄

Work on the Nowhere Patrol patch is almost done. The game will be a bit more fun to play with the quality of life changes and it should™️ preform better.

As I work on this, it's actually a much lighter load on me than making Chromahertz. When I work on that game I basically think about it 24/7. Now I'm feeling like I should really wrap it up lol I have other ideas anyway

tbh i'm sick of coming back to this game but i let the feeling of "this shit AGAIN????" obstruct me from putting in a trivial amount of work to improve the project lol. it happens. also i love Nowhere Patrol I'm just sick of working on it

I'm still working on stuff by the way. I just don't like marketing or posting on social media at all. But I'll post about it when I'm ready. Maybe when I'm finished?

after stumbling around with 3D for a bit I'm really understanding things and having a good time. combined with the net code stuff i was researching i'm feeling really inspired. like, damn...i can make anything....

I want to thank everyone again for helping spread the Switch port announcement of Nowhere Patrol. I got overwhelmed and couldn't reply to everyone. I do a lot of hit & run posts on my social media but anyway, thanks.

I want to talk more about my new project but I'm channeling that energy into research and progress right now... It's 3D so I have some things to Learn including more 3d modeling. But I'm excited to share it soon.

The level select screen in Nowhere Patrol was heavily inspired by the boss rush intro screen from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. I think Kirby did it better, but these days I could definitely top it...

one of the nice things about Nowhere Patrol's Nintendo Switch port is twinstick controls... I think it makes the game a little easier but it's optional.

thanks for the interest and kind words about the announcement, everyone. it's a VERY big help because I'm a quiet artist if you haven't noticed by now... Still have to put in a lot of work on my end to spread it around tho

It's available worldwide. The translations are subpar, and I will be updating the game later on with a proper localization, but the game is still perfectly enjoyable. Please try it out!

definitely not sure what project to commit to right now. I've figured out netplay stuff so it feels like the possibilities for multiplayer games are endless. But do I really want to chip away at Chromahertz for a year or two while I have a job...

the Nintendo Switch version of nowhere patrol (coming soon) has a lot more quality of life features that are absent from the steam version... it wouldn't take long at all to port those over.

but i have so many dev tasks that "wouldn't take that long" so it's hard to prioritize things. especially because i work alone. the PC version is perfectly playable. so i may put it off indefinitely bc my time is so limited and i desperately want another game out.

lately i've been 🎸jamming a lot with my neighbor. this time he brought a friend over that sings really well. it was interesting having someone sing over my music......

not sure if other music people can relate, but i'm straight up addicted to the songs i write. even if i don't think they're that good. it has to be because i listen to them thousands of times as i'm making them lol

I believe I have all the problems with netcode for Chromahertz figured out. I just have a lot of code to write. Very little to rewrite though, so that's cool. But for now I need to finish up some Nowhere Patrol stuff™

lately I've been trying to learn how netplay works for chromahertz... I hope it doesn't take forever to get this presentable

Air Ride 2 with Sakurai directing is insane to me. I still play Air Ride from time to time, I really love the game. And I really respect Sakurai's game design, so I'm very excited for that.

felt like it shouldn't have taken so long to port but i'm so busy... Chromahertz is way smaller now so I hope I can finish it within a year after this

my neighbor just knocked on my window to check on me. he introduced me to his coworker, then i brought out instruments and we all jammed for a little bit through my window. it felt really special

i've been in therapy for a year Dealing With Things but I had my last appointment this morning. i've been emotional all day after that. it was definitely worth going!!!
