Calico Critters doesnโ€™t currently sell any red foxes so Iโ€™m actually pretty proud of this paint job I did despite struggling and messing up so many times (I even rubbed off some fuzz on two spots๐Ÿ˜ญ)

The free tier here is also a great way to help us get opportunities for paid tier! Admiring from a distance does nothing for us! If you like it, PRESS THE LIKE BUTTON, likes are private on here and there's bookmarks now! No need to be stingy with likes! You can make a huge difference for an artist!

I feel it's important to share this again. The internet is so hostile toward creators nowadays. I've seen people have their work stolen, and no longer feel comfortable sharing their creations. We can do better. Let's be supportive to the people that make this a better place! ๐Ÿ’ž

I've started customizing this calico critter for my own enjoyment for the last week its actually stressing me out so bad, like yeah lets use the temperamental ass watercolor paint, lets accidentally rub off the flocking to fix a mistake, lets buy more flocking to fix that -

sort of at peace with giving up on art jobs for any foreseeable future mostly because of lack of industry jobs/aโ—ฆi but also because if im right about hard times being on the horizon i just want to survive for the time being lol

that being said thank you to anyone who's ever paid me to draw anything, like i don't even draw for myself anymore and means a lot that anyone has ever liked my work to that extent because at the end of the day i know i'm not really that good lol

i think i'd just be happier if i can find a way to truly find drawing enjoyable again even if i know i suck at it (honestly a lot of my favorite artists aren't masters of their craft but definitely put a lot of heart into their work, which i find more enviable)

Some of you may know, but this weekend my cat Skwisgaar got an obstruction and we had to take him to the emergency vet TWICE The vet bills were a very hard hit, so I set up a Ko-fi goal to help pay it off while I beg for more hours at work and find freelance ko-fi.com/morbidember/...

Itโ€™s fun to be here for Worlds but ngl the Pokemon Center being exclusive to badge holders that managed to reserve an online slot for a 15 min shopping window has me mad upset and the restrictions just feel like a logistical failure
