Today marks the 83rd anniversary of the Sobibor uprising. We honor this year the bravery of the women in Sobibor. The 2026 Jules Schelvis Youth Award has been awarded to Rosa Bo Visser & Valérie Dekker for their monument in memory of murdered women: an image of love and care amidst destruction.
Deddie Zak. Annie Kapper. In gebarentaal: Kaatje Wurms en Veronica Wurms. John-Sidney Waisvisz. Fanny Günsberg. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Izbica. Dat waren open getto’s in Oost-Polen waar o.a.
