It's talk day at #CloudNativeNorway πŸŽ‰ 15:30 in Galleriet I'll be telling you why your platforms matter more than ever with AI. Come say hi if you're around! πŸ™Œ

Arrived to a sunny Bergen! β˜€οΈ Some dark clouds threatening, but all in all beautiful 😍 looking forward to a full day of conference tomorrow!

Almost halfway through the first day of #TechLeadConf already! After lunch I'll share why #InternalDeveloperPlatforms are the foundation for succeeding with AI adoption!

Tldr of my talk: You need an intentional strategy that is adaptable as the world changes Your platforms support your strategy allowing you to keep standardization while utilizing agents to accelerate development It's that simple! (almost at least) #TechLeadConf

From GitHub's public data, developer activities went up roughly 25% across issues closed, pull requests merged and code pushes on monthly average between 2024 and 2025! We are doing *more* software development and we need to adapt to keep up! #TechLeadConf

I'm here to tell you that your platforms matter more than ever in the AI era! And I'll tell you all about it at #TechLeadConf in Amsterdam in June! For more information about the conference check out techleadconf.com #platformengineering #internaldeveloperplatform #ai

On my way home from #KubeCon #CloudNativeCon What a week! Will need some time to process everything, but it's been great! Lovely meeting everyone and hope to see you soon again!

You then optimize for people who have context and knowledge rather than those who are more junior or new to systems. This is why Juniors on platform teams can help build better platforms!

In conclusion (plenty more good content, watch recording!) if you are a senior engineer you should advocate for hiring juniors to your management, it will be better for everyone!

One part mentioned is that as a platform engineer it's easy to listen to loud feedback and maybe you get 20% use case. I'm also thinking that it's easier to talk to people you know, so a platform team might lean on their existing relations, the people who worked there long 🧡

The personas of platform stakeholders, if we understand those we see how we can gain higher reach and who we should focus on for increasing love and value

Ready to go for #PlatEngDay πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰ I'm collecting horror stories of when platforms fall apart! Come tell me your horror stories and I'll write up an anonymous post about it πŸ˜„#KubeCon

Platform teams are stream-aligned teams working inside a platform grouping. This resonates so well with me and how I think about platform teams! Happy the second edition of #TeamTopologies clarifies this thinking. Manuel Pais presenting at #FastFlowConf

Pillars of platform 1. Trusted platform (trust in teams and services) 2. Shared success stories (we need data as well, but everyone loves story telling) 3. Internal confidence (we in platform, our confidence) 4. External confidence (other's confidence in the platform, data on what we deliver)

Starting the morning with coffee and getting ready to deliver our session after the keynotes, first out on the platform track at #FastFlowConf πŸŽ‰ Join us for Pragmatic guide to compliance and platforms!

The idea of curated content is very interesting! I've seen the no filter version and the confusion that can create. I've seen gatekeeping information and the frustration that creates. Curated content sounds like a good middle ground! Lagom as we say in Sweden πŸ˜„

"How to make the ride fun for everyone and not only platform engineers?" #FastFlowConf Makes me think of Cool Techβ„’ for cool tech's sake, not for solving real problems πŸ˜
