What do I think should happen with Destiny next? - D1 Remaster & PC Port - D2 Classic (D2 up until just before the release of Beyond Light) - Try to put post-Beyind Light activities back into the game (Doesn't have to be regular, couple updates a year) #savedestiny

All this! I have no expectations of there being activities or enemies there. They're just cool areas and it would be amazing to go see them without having to do Shenanigans. Dark Forest would also be incredible. 🙏 It would also allow newer players to see some of the hidden parts of the world!

@destiny2team.bungie.net @dmg04.bsky.social With the end of D2's live service comes a question: Will we be able to explore areas locked off and unaccessible through any kind of activity. Examples are Niobe Labs forge area, Hangman's Pass in the EDZ, Echion Control, Maevic Square, etc? #Destiny2

Myself and many people that I know would love to be able to explore those areas, even if there is nothing to do there. If doors were removed like the doors to the Niobe Labs forge area, it would make the world feel much larger and would preserve the sense of exploration. #WeWantDestiny3

Why do I think these should happen? So many people don't have a console and want to play D1 but can't because they're on PC. All of D2 should be available to those who bought the content. D2 Classic ensures D2 Yr1-3 is playable, and Yr4-8 is playable in the current game.

Where should returning content go? The activity tabs at the bottom of the new Director screen with all other Portal activities, or in the Timeline. I might make a video on this in the future...

If Bungie cannot make a Destiny game, try to get another studio to remaster D1, port it to PC, and create a D2 Classic to tide the community over until an eventual D3. It sounds very "backseat dev" of me, I know, but the Destiny franchise and community deserve better than this #savedestiny

Needless to say, I am forever grateful for this franchise. Like so many within the community, I have met incredible people who are now lifelong friends and has given me the passion to create content for audiences and also to explore what Sol has to offer in real life ❤️

Apparently Bungie has the power to just cross-fade objects and global sky/atmosphere parameters based on what part of the map you're in I keep learning new things about this engine on a daily basis 🙃

Do NOT remove content from the Destint 2 Portal. It should be the hub for all activities; new, old, and existing. Worlds should be about exploring Sol. Portal should be about fighting back to reclaim Sol. It is also the only place to play previous content that's been released 1/4

I and many others that I have spoken to agree that removing content is the worst way to move forward. However, we understand that there are certain limits. But the way this game is going to survive is by bringing in New Lights. Removing content will lose those players. 2/4

I love this game, and I've even introduced it to my significant other. But I've found it hard to recommend D2 for its story, even though its story experience has been one of my absolute favourites. I've even said to my partner that she should wait in case old stories return. 3/4

Do NOT remove any content from the Portal. If UI space is an issue, divide into release/activity type. Activity types can range from Strikes to Battlegrounds, Exotic missions to Raid & Dungeons. Removing content is the worst thing you can do #vanguardalerts #d2portal #destiny2 #bungie

If it's hardware limitations, stop supporting last generation consoles. They're not helping the health of the game and the internal hard drives are too slow for the game. Current gen and next gen must be the only ones supported if the game is to survive.
