Max Payne 3:
Tonally, it's got a very different vibe, being a modern crime drama instead of classic campy neo noir. But the spirit of the original gameplay is still here and more action packed than ever. It's a pretty good looking game for its time as well. Still really good.

I deliberated for quite a bit on how I wanted to write out both the short post just now and this Steam review, but tonight, I managed to gather some of my thoughts on Control Resonant.

Control Resonant:
To put simply, the story is emotional, the warped Manhattan is crazy and intriguing, the combat is fluid and flexible and the atmosphere is astounding. I feel such similar delight playing this like when I played Nier Automata before. Spectacular Remedy game.
I see people talking about and modding in a weapon wheel for Control Resonant.
Fair enough, but hear me out.
With the way the combat system works, having different forms for light, heavy attacks and a secondary combo, the Devs could probably afford to take a similar system from Nier Automata.
Control Resonant could contain a similar system, allowing you to make preset loadouts made up of the Primary and Secondary weapons as well as the Combo Finishers. Just like in Nier, the player will be able to freely swap between these loadouts in combat, at least as far as I remember.

In Nier Automata, you can have separate weapons for the light and heavy attacks respectively, which changes up your base move set. What this game also has is a loadout system that allows you to swap out between different sets of the two weapons you assign.
