leonie and thancred's relationship has always been a little strained. in arr i think he initially slotted her into the little sister category and then the possession happened and not only did she take over his role of protector she also saved him which was kind of emasculating for him

for a long time leonie doesnt want to believe how badly thancred is treating ryne even after she spends time and bonds with ryne. but post have a heart she yells at him for maybe the first time in her whole life and after that shes unable to ever really forgive him

ironically i think thancred has a higher opinion of her post shb. even if she doesnt forgive him he holds her in high esteem and knows she will stop him from getting that bad again

and leonie was completely oblivious to this but post hw theres a tension between them bc both of them believed they failed to protect minfilia but thancred refuses to talk to her about it much like he does with krile. and hes also kinda jealous of her and then shb happens and everything goes to shit

ppl going "this can't be okay now" about the rise in anti arab and islamophobic sentiment does truly make me feel insane. this has been "okay to say" for years. ppl were making rfk's exact statements about arabs in 2015. we can't act like this came out of nowhere its been the party line for years

People talk about Bluesky users "being in a bubble" like it's a bad thing but the more I think about it the more I kinda like it? A protective bubble I could deploy for me and my friends sounds great. I wouldn't want to be in it all the time though, maybe if it had a 10 second cooldown and 650 HP?

Whenever we talk about a problematic artist, some ppl in the comments always go, "Well, I always knew X's art always sucked." Like... ok? Not really the point, but glad you're making it clear you were never "tainted". It's more about making clear their purity than engaging with the conversation.
