One week away to a proper adaptation of my favorite manga of all time

Finding out a handful of friends of mine have never experienced the series and want to watch it specifically because of how passionate I am about it makes me so happy. Let my insanity about the manga drive you into the arms of an amazing story

I've spent this month thinking a lot about what I want to do. I miss streaming and I love doing it, but I know I can't keep up the schedule I had. I like editing pre-recorded content, but I don't like having to block out time to sit, record, and not do anything else.

I don't know how to reconcile this with myself. I don't know how to make this work to be productive, and be healthy to myself. So I may not have any new content, for twitch or youtube, for a while until I can sort this out with myself. If I come back to streaming, it may be sporadic, unscheduled.

I think one of the funniest things about this is seeing the anime olds going 'oh I can't wait to see hikaru/lantis as a ship again!" my friends in cefiro. hikaru never fell in love in the manga. that was an anime only thing.

this is the only series in existence that I own multiple print copies of in multiple languages. this manga is so so so important and if you liked m a d o k a you should watch magic knight rayearth when it comes out. watch it to the end. I swear to you.

I also did the thing This is more "what was formative" than "what I love RIGHT NOW" because that's a completely different list the manga list came to me so fast without any hesitation, I read a lot more manga than I do watch anime

if I were to do a current day spread, witch hat atelier anime and manga would be on there along with dunmeshi and I don't know that much else would change tbh I'm so picky what I spend my time on these days that if a manga/anime doesn't grab me within 3 episodes I drop it

Similarly I also decided to do a film specific one as well. I saw Promare in theaters an embarrassingly cringe number of times but god I still love it.

Hey as a general rule, I don’t accept or respond to cold dms from artists about to pitch me their commissions. I have artists I work with and a short list of other artists I plan to commission at later times. It is an instant block so save yourself some time and don’t do that ✌️
