got a golden chocobo in ff7 only to lose it by my own error (dying without saving)

thinking about some of the other final fantasies i have completed (kinda) recently and this clock from ff8 makes me frown

in most circumstances i Would Not Care that a clock has the incorrect roman numeral for 4 but this one is used for a puzzle 😭 people are gonna be looking at this clock... so easy to accidentally glance and misread it

im having fun with ff7 rebirth but no matter what random side content i go perceive or do i dread seeing cloud pull out the doohickey and hearing "cloud!" immediately after

i wish there was a setting to turn off his miscellaneous guidance or something... it's just a lot. same with mai saying enemy facts while you are fighting in the combat challenges, it borders on almost overstimulating with the music and battle barks all at the same time

on a serperate note did ff7 rebirth really need a crafting system. was it not enough to just open a chest and experience getting a potion. does cloud really need to get 3 leaves instead from it

i am not very active here and that shall remain because i havent done patch content yet for ffxiv :) (not like that changes when i am current on the game either)

despite playing a lot xiv i had actually only really played (never beaten) 13 from the mainline stuff beforehand i played through psp dissidia and other ff spinoffs though so i do point and go "i know that guy" still

we're playing as the npcs from our finished campaign for a couple of small sessions so i drew two of them #finart

finally updating stuff for artfight only to realize i havent given anakis a new ref in 6+ years im sorry anakis u simply must endure yet another year with no new ref.

my favourite random thing i discovered you could do way back when is going into gpose when you are playing as the npc LOL amuses me greatly
