I need to figure out how to tell Etsy that my zines can, if shipped singly, go as non-machinable letters, which costs under $2, because right now it's insisting first class "normal" mail is my only option? And that's like $8-$10, which is ridiculous for a $6 zine, and even worse for the new $3 one.

When you get right down to it, there's just the two options in life, you live or you don't. (Literally or metaphorically, take that however you like. But if I wasn't "resilient" like...then what? Bed-rotting 24/7? Going on a stabbing spree? You get on with it because the fuck else can you even do?)

Maybe TMI, but while I don't really "want" to see random real people having sex, knowing that somebody is really enjoying something I created is SO GOOD. So I am delighted with sex-posting, regardless of my usual disinterest, if it's of somebody with a plush or toy I made, story I wrote, etc.

Oh hey, I have a shirt of one of these! (The one with the bearded vulture, OF COURSE.) I also have an Iguanodon Approves (he cannot disapprove, his wrists don't rotate like that, lol) and a polyamory pride flag colors Stegosaurus. <3 Picking just those three was SO HARD.

They have to be a bit divorced from real life. People who behave like REAL people who've hurt me...blech. People who are obsessed with demon summoning and ruling the world, if they're at all well-written or fun, I'm THERE. (Why Adrien's shit ex barely appears in the story and others are all over.)

I have MAGNETIC PIGMENTS. I just put one of the new nail polishes I got on, so I can't put it on my nails right away, but I'm gonna mix up some magnetic cat's eye and play around with it later today.

GOODNESS. This is amazing. It feels like it's from the 1800s, and I say that in the most complimentary way possible.

I went to a nail polish swap/frankenpolish workshop. :D I got a HAUL. Though I'm not gonna remove the peacock nails until they're chipped all to hell, but after that I have stuff to try!

Since I want to avoid *outright* spoilers, I guess it'd have to be either Bishop Loverde, or King Mathhiasl. Of the two, Matthias is the less likely to make me MURDEROUS by the end of the flight. Though he's still a jerk, just a more pragmatic and less sadistic jerk.

Ralsei is done! Two whole hours ahead of my kiddo's school Halloween carnival. (Yes, I make my kid costumes, including fursuits if she wants them. She's so spoiled, lol. Though this is more thrown-together and janky than my "pro" heads.)

Head's up, folks! I got mine in, but anybody else who's a marginalized author and has genre fiction (especially but not necessarily furry!) should toss it TF's way. <3 It's run by good people. (People? Person? Only good experiences here, anyway.)

I have impulse purchased UU merch. I've heard complaints about Redbubble, but I will say that catering to "I like this design, but I want it on a pin, not as a print" is very nice. Got a bumper sticker, a pin, and a shirt. The pin and shirt are plant-themed too, since I am "the" UU garden guy. :D

FYI I'm dealing with "real life" right now, so I've been (and will be?) a bit less active. I kinda hate it, my routine is disrupted, but on the other hand there are benefits. (New housemate! Friend is here! Yay! Help with dishes, also yay!) Just it uses spoons to adjust, yanno?

OHfuck would I LOVE to be Adrien. If money were no object I could get a set of those stunning quasi-functional wings where each feather moves. (I say "quasi" because you can't get lift, but they move air! They're SO COOL)

Not sure about the hand lettering, I'm not very good at it, but I like the vultures. I'll scan it and clean it up a bit, and then we're good to go. $3 price point, probably.
