Here's another bug elf design! This is a Queen of Sluagh, aka the Wasps/Hornets/Bees elves for my dnd book. They are based on the order Hymenoptera minus the ants, I want to do ants separate. This particular Queen was inspired by a carpener bee <3 Hope you like her 🐝 #art #characterdesign #dnd

I'm the warming-up type of artist and I start every work from drawing a few things. These are often random ideas, concepts, my OC's, whatever I have in my mind at a given time. #sketch #art #wipart

This time I had to re-paint a character not because there was something wrong with the size, but because the characters came a bit wonky ^^' I also added a bit of watercolour texture and better saturation. And a new pose. So the re-post is not cheap

Here's a sketch I made to portray the Powrie, Squirrel Gnomes from the Feylights of Gaol D&D book. In the setting elves are bugs, gnomes are small forest animals, and dwarves are simply horrifying. I really wanted to do Redcaps, and picked the squirrels to represent them #sketch #characterart #dnd
