So, I saw this in 1968 off the mouth of the Hue River in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive. We were steaming in place, loaded with so many explosives that no other ship was allowed within five miles. I think I am the first to illustrate this behavior. #snakes #seasnakes #kraits #Vietnam

Anyone out there with knowledge of events on the USS Comstock in 1968? I was there and am trying to dig out details from an event then, where the ship was a flashpoint and the CO got removed from command due to two (2) investigations. (I helped.) #USSComstock #VietnamWar #AmphibiousFleet #1968

Really enjoying exploring personal and professional history using Gemini 3.0. Getting verification and elaboration of some fuzzy memories in disc golf, sustainability, higher ed IT, and the Navy. Wonderful feelings. Moving me to tears and laughter.

I have a friend who owns a bunch of those little cars.

Came across this very nice 23-year-old tee-shirt in a box recently. Brought back a set of very nice memories of a weekend near Atlanta. #discgolf
