I’m trying to name a dead guy in this short story but I’m pretty sure the name that keeps floating across my brain is the government name of a YouTuber and I feel like there might be implications there that I don’t want to contend with. I need to go hunt for names in the graveyard Again.

They mostly can because they’re still largely adventurers but there are some exceptions The biggest one is that they straight-up don’t work for Eithne Ganzorig and Taivan meanwhile don’t have aetherytes anywhere near their village which dampens the appeal but there are talks to build one post-ew

Peel the scales and horns off Akigane and you get Mnemosyne, this is mostly notable because Mnemosyne’s shards are wildly physically different. So this one matching is unusual and has had a distinct impact on his in-game success.

Musashi shares the kitchen with Cyrille whether Cyrille wants him there or not coz Musashi doesn’t trust him to cook with anything more advanced than a campfire. Sunny LIKES company in the kitchen and not just coz they can reach the high shelves better than she can. Riubh’a doesn’t get a choice.

Akigane is a night owl because it’s almost always night in game when I play. Like it’s been nearly 7 years and I genuinely have never seen Thavnair during the day and I’ve very rarely seen Ishgard and Gridania during the day so the only conclusion is that Akigane is on vampire time.

He has 200 prosthetic vampire fangs. He doesn’t need prosthetic fangs because he already has fangs, so he’ll take them with him to All Saint’s Wake and start distributing them out to fangless friends and festival attendees. It could be worse he could be stuck with vinyl records and woolen suits.

Tea. Especially 40something Scion!AU Akigane because why wouldn’t they make Uncle Iroh FFXIV edition. He has tea AND an assortment of hyper-competent older men as friends.

Considering that as a kid Akigane was constantly at the docks in his village asking everyone who passed through about what the larger world was like, literally no one is surprised. People in Eithne's life aren't super clear about how adventuring is any different from what she was doing before.

I genuinely loved how much this year’s Rising focused on the music of Final Fantasy and music in general. Maybe it’s just because I‘m the person that I am but it dug into me this year and honestly, I appreciate the sensation.

Akigane and Z’chael are embarrassing nerds who do the homework and the extra credit. Piane and Salacia do it but aren’t dorks about it. Eithne and Riubh’a mostly remember to do it. Sunny claims “something happened to it“ but she actually just fed it into the nearest woodchipper.

So Kingdom Hearts is actually canon to my XIV narrative because Eithne’s visited Twilight Town and Radiant Garden in her various travels and I forgot that Eithne specifically mentions Remy as existing during the Eden Raids. Of all the Disney to mention I went with gourmand rat.

Because of my very specific brain rot I was, for half a second, briefly convinced that the setting of this fanfic I was reading had transferred to Fodlan. Because truly Fire Emblem: Three Houses x Glee is the crossover the world needs now.

Akigane ADORES Nero. Nero is someone he remembers positively from his time in Garlemald, CT cemented him as a legitimate friend and he enjoyed their brief affair after EW As for the Cid of it all, Aki knows they're never giving each other up so he's just to the side rolling his eyes affectionately

So I saw that WolNero week was happening and I thought "Yes absolutely. I'll knock my fic rust off and finally participate in the community coz I got the announcement". I wrote part 1 of 7, thought about gposing and then immediately fucked off to write 8 manuscript pages of a new book in two hours.

Akigane‘s original party had their horses and a dog fairly similar to the real-world Bankhar dog breed. He’s left those behind though and he’ll probably not bothering with a pet until he retires from adventuring.

Heroes‘ Gauntlet is genuinely the most fun, most narratively rewarding dungeon I’ve played in this game {acknowledging that I’m still only in EW patches} and Feo Ul is consistently delightful. I also enjoy the vibe and soundtrack of Amaurot.

1: remember that bug that added eyebags to Duskwights? That but for everyone. 2: muscle slider equity. It’s stupid that ears and tails and muscles are all apparently the same thing in the backend so characters only get 1 of the possible three. 3: Let me see your spaghetti code. I’m so curious.

Zell. Coz FFVIII has owned my heart since I saw Leon in KH2. I changed his color sllightly so he has the black border feathers to match Zell’s face tattoo.

Depends on when it’s happening in the story, puberty to the vault Akigane’s flirting back without a second’s hesitation, vault to ew he’s liable to be violent about it, ew patches and on he won‘t be as eager as he used to be but he’s receptive again.

G’raha tells them coz it’s something cool and he wants to share it with his friends, Akigane’s response is “What’s an ’Allagan Switch’? Is it some sort of special lever that alters the Crystal Tower?” Z’chael, Riubh’a and Piane go feral playing multiplayer SSB with G’raha. Eithne is intrigued.
