Maybe everyone can see it now, but the world's richest people have tanked it all to restock assets and get liquid after years of illegally playing with funny money. They used "the wokeness" as a cudgel and it worked. The next Disney princess WILL be white, as we all eat beans under the highway.

Dem response is teh suxx0rz true - but empathy demands I attempt to understand. Should the government shut down, the literal ONLY thing (the PEOPLE) keeping Musk’s gooner squad from selling all our data to the Russians, would no longer be there to stop them. This was an impossible decision.

I see accounts out there defending Schumer and I don’t get it. These people are happy with the ineffective responses from dem leadership? No plan? This doesn’t minimize the harm that Trump/Musk/etc are inflicting. It’s about actually fighting.

I’ve been having to say this a lot lately: stop comparing a populous that hasn’t had to overthrow a government since it’s inception, with populations in parts of the world where they overthrow their government every 15 years. We have no experiential reference for what’s happening to us

Perhaps, but that doesn’t mean she was a good candidate. I personally have no respect for someone who remains tied to a morally compromised individual for materialistic/personal gain. Screams quite loudly said person will compromise their beliefs if it suits them, or WORSE, have no problems with it
