It has been 30 years since Lara Croft first welcomed us to her home. Here's my cover of that short Croft Manor intro. Music composed by Nathan McCree ๐ŸŽถ #TombRaider

I very rarely share music covers because I often become fixated on a mistake and write the whole thing off. I'm worried about the mixing on this one but it's passable. Still learning, so I'd better keep making them and record some piano arrangements.

Can I really spend all that money on a Switch 2 to play a remake of a game I know by heart? There are only two other exclusive games I might be interested in trying.

My Switch has been at death's door for a while now. I can always finish or replay those games on the new console. I did also buy a PS5 to play Tomb Raider Remastered... and I still only own 5 games for that console (all of which are available on PS4).

The last few weeks have been tough. Anxiety has been brutal. It has isolated me, robbed me off sleep and made me physically ill. I'm trying my best to do as much as possible to improve my mood, but lately even the simple things bring little joy.

Because of anxiety, I've let so many opportunities pass me by. Things I would otherwise enjoy. I feel like I'm on the edge or outside of everything in life. I just can't make those connections (even with family). My existence now almost boils down to being alone in the same four walls.

I've finally completed Assassins Creed Odyssey after having left it unfinished a few years ago (I have a habit of doing this with some games). I even earned the platinum trophy.

I'm now starting Alan Wake II. It's been sitting on the shelf two years since trying the first game, which I found to be just okay... perhaps my expectations were too high.

As the music is stuck in my head after last night's rewatch... (I should be practicing my Tomb Raider and Zelda arrangements instead).

It was surprisingly more comedic than scary (but, of course, plenty of jump scares and gore). First half stronger than last in terms of atmosphere. Simple story. Just a fun rollercoaster ride. Good to have an average dude (rather than a super soldier) in the lead.

Present Luke should really listen to Past Luke.

I will try to share piano covers and orchestra mockups. I need to accept they'll be far from perfect. I'm still learning (especially mixing) and I'll definitely not progress if I give up every time a note sounds off.

The new Bond actor will apparently be announced soon. Has the Internet learnt from initial Daniel Craig backlash? I hope so but doubt it.

I'm terrible at this social [media] thing. If I did a skircle, it'd just be me... all alone... just like at a party... if I were invited (okay, this is getting sad now).

I will have some free time in August if anyone would like to meet up locally. Or I could plan some days out further afield.

I was thinking about organising random activities (quiet drinks/food, video/board games, bowling, hiking, etc.) in the Suffolk and nearby areas every month or so. Would anyone be interested?
