Here on the condition people can be normal about Antoine Dupont

Freya Bell has been so brilliant since winning her first cap this year, amongst Wales' best players today, and looks like the long-term 12 for Wales. Seeing her go off in such agony is really horrible.

The crowd going completely silent, the huge number of medical staff crowding around her, and the sheer pain and tears on Freya's face honestly makes this one of the hardest injury breaks I've ever had to watch. I really hope it's not as bad as it seems.

our silly little podcast doing a proper live show in an actual venue eternally grateful to everyone who supported us

Sadia Kabeya has been England's best player by a country mile. Seeing Sophie de Goede grab her and ragdoll her five metres behind the gainline feels like the game in a nutshell.

If the WRU was a public listed company, its share price would be in the toilet right now and shareholders would be banging on the door asking what the board and exec are going to do about it. The WRU needn't worry, because their shareholders don't appear to care.

If anybody is in Swansea and at a loose end or eager to build on the St Helen's hype tonight, we're doing a live event at Hoogah (just a few minutes walk from St Helen's!) with quizzes, games, and a special guest right from the current Ospreys camp! 7pm tonight!

She's literally too scared to come to Swansea and yet they claim they're the people with the minerals and the conviction to go through with this?

Spot the missing region....

If anyone is in Swansea tomorrow, we've got a perfect way to build up to the first game at the new St Helens...

This is also broadly my take on the Wales squad

Jamie Phillips@jnphillips4.bsky.social

I love Aneurin Owen and I’m pleased as punch that he’s got a Wales call up. I don’t know how much game time he’ll get or if he can translate his excellent form to the international stage but he deserves the opportunity to find out. (Belcher over Dee is fucking criminal, mind.)

I just came here to say “only kick if you’re woke” Squidge did it again

For decades, one cliche has dominated every level of coaching. Yet, the modern game begins to show this might be not just outdated, but downright incorrect. We dig into one of the game's defining modern trends... youtu.be/XSODtXjtwy4

Mathias Remue, who at just 22 is already likely Belgium's greatest-ever player, scoring tries like that for Toulouse is such a vision of the world of rugby we could have if we all willingly put more work and support into tier two rugby. The talent out there is unbelievable.

Some poor club is gonna have a fantastic season and be over the moon to have a home Round of 16 match and then check the draw and see they've got Toulouse coming fully loaded

Josh Gardner@joshgardner.bsky.social

Toulouse’s Champions Cup campaign might be over in the first round - a bad home loss today, combined with the injuries and suspensions incoming, and it’s hard to see how they’re gonna make the knockouts.

That pass by Dupont is insane. We should never take him for granted and treat crazy shit like it's routine simply because he's done things even more impressive.

As the biggest club in the world, of course the honour falls on the Ospreys to be the first club to ever record a European Cup bonus point under the new competition rules.

Max Jorgensen is having one of those absurdly tough winger days where you can deliver a 9/10 personal performance and it doesn't make a jot of difference on how your team performs

Squidge Rugby@squidgerugby.bsky.social

We'll see if his team can deliver, but after ten minutes Jorgo looks like he could be about to have one of those 'Today I am the best winger in the world' games he sometimes has

France with Pauline Bourdon-Sansus can beat a Canada team who just ended England's 41-game unbeaten streak France without Pauline Bourdon-Sansus are shipping point per minute

We just hopped on Zoom to record a short reaction and discussion and accidentally talked about the game in depth for 50 minutes. It's 3:30am and the Bledisloe Cup starts in two hours.

That's probably the biggest emotional high I've ever had as a 'neutral'. I love this Canada team so much. To see them unlock what is surely a new, more open and thrilling era of women's rugby -the sort that could kick it on to the next level- is so wonderful. And on a basic level, what a game.

Genuinely one of the best games of rugby I have ever watched.

Absolutely lost for words. Eight years of watching the Roses look borderline unbeatable just ended. This is one of the great nights in Canadian rugby history, and a huge moment for the international game.

I’ve never seen a prop that conceded probably 5 scrum penalties be a more deserving POTM than DaLeaka Menin. Tons of options on the field. Both teams played some elite high pressure ball. Now how do I go to sleep?
