Remember how 3P WR was slower than 4P WR? We did something about that. Someone else did something more about it 24 hours later, but we don't have to talk about that. Late night Raiders 1P run. SURELY we PB this time (surely) twitch.tv/squid_school and youtube.com/squidschool/...

Introducing the Ethan Stone Splatoon Raiders 10K (sub) Speedrun Race! I got 7 Pro Speedrunners and 14 Content Creators and have paired them into teams of 3. Now they have to compete against each other in a 3 Player Any% Speedrun Race. 4th of October, 5am AEST (correct this time!) TEAMS BELOW!!!

We've known that, over a single ink tank, fire rate variants outperform the others, but I wanted to see whether ink efficiency made up some of the gap by giving the player less downtime. Feel free to do your own testing with other classes, getting weapons the same level and right variant took ages

one quick note for science reasons, the range/ink coverage data wasn't actually tested, but calculated based on the other two variants (amount of time it took ink efficiency variant to do the amount of damage fire rate can do in one ink tank with the downtime being an average)

FYI to anyone who streams, Twitch is using channel content to train generative AI models for Amazon. This toggle appeared in Twitch settings and it's opt-in by default. I'm considering just leaving Twitch, but at the very least, everyone should know they can uncheck this.
