Bit of an odd one. Calafiori finished the game at left wing, with Madueke behind him at left-back. Italian has now gone straight down the tunnel after the full-time whistle. Hopefully not an injury.

Full-time Arsenal 2-0 Everton The Gunners move level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City. A good performance and a deserved win. Thought Madueke did well, again, and the two centre-backs of Gabriel and Konsa were excellent - at both ends of the pitch.

Interesting insight from Bruno G about he and Rice rotating roles game by game: “Like me, he can play as a No6, No8 or No10 - everywhere in the midfield.  “Against Bayern, I played more as a No6, he played more as a No8. But I enjoy playing with him a lot.”

Spoke to Bruno Guimaraes last night. Great insight from him on his tearful Newcastle goodbye and the sleepless nights that led to it. "I never felt so loved like the way I was at Newcastle. I hope I can have the same love here at Arsenal." More here: www.thesun.co.uk/sport/407761...

After seven Premier League games this season, Eberechi Eze has played just 130 minutes and is to yet create a chance or register a shot on target. The talent is clear - but getting the best out of Eze remains a challenge for Mikel Arteta. Piece: www.thesun.co.uk/sport/407417...

thesun.co.ukDamning Premier League stats show Eze just isn't working out at ArsenalEBERECHI EZE’S tough start to the season can be summed up by a simple stat. This Premier League campaign is seven games old and the attacking midfielder is yet to have a shot on target. Eze, 28, ha…

Half-time Forest 0-0 Arsenal The Gunners had over 70 per cent possession in that half, but not a shot on target. Not for the first time this season, they have not got going in the opening 45 minutes of a game. Arteta may have to turn to his 'finishers' once again.

Positive fitness update from Arteta: Hincapie evolving well, but won’t be back this weekend. Zubimendi could make it, though. Tzolis also doing well after another scan yesterday. Saliba on right track, too, and has an MRI next week to check progress.

Mikel Merino has proven himself to be the most versatile player in Arsenal's squad - and he could have to be again depending on Kai Havertz's injury. But how he is so tactically flexible? The answer lies in his father and his attitude. Piece: www.thesun.co.uk/sport/404935...

Premier League fixture changes for November announced. Newcastle v Arsenal now 5.30pm on Saturday 21st. Not great for away fans, especially after Sunderland away was 8pm on a Saturday.

On the subject of midfielders, Brighton seemingly done it again with Chema Andres. Thought he was brilliant against Arsenal and, at 15.5m, looks like a bargain in this market. No wonder he is called 'Baby Rodri'.

Arsenal are stacked for options in midfield now - and part of the challenge is going to be finding the right blend each week. Mikel Arteta may need to adopt a horses-for-courses appraoch. Piece from Brighton: www.thesun.co.uk/sport/404422...

Full-time Brighton 3-0 Arsenal A chastening afternoon for Mikel Arteta's side. They were off the pace and were ruthlessly punished by Brighton. Fair play to the hosts, who were excellent in and out of possession. Interested to hear Arteta's comments after this.
