i am not some wild radical, i am the most boring mainstream parent you could possibly meet that spends most of my life driving my kids to hockey practise - we've fucked up our streets so bad and the narrative so bad that wanting BASIC SAFETY FOR CHILDREN is considered fucking radical.

My tendency to save things “in case I need this” is now forever reinforced as the kid needed a lei for his spirit week outfit tomorrow and I found two that are several years older than he is. Never saw him as a spirit week kid but here we are.

I had the space today to write several paragraphs and my brain felt better. I was asked for my contribution and expertise! And I wasn’t in endless meetings, I wasn’t distracted by the open office concept, I had enough to do that I didn’t wander off for side quests.
