Cycling through Hyde Park at dusk by Steve Gibbs

I have a favor to ask. My uncle is 92 and is an amazing artist (really) and he’s just started to share his art, from the last 70 years, on Instagram. If you are on IG, please follow kellnerchuck and show him some love. He is one of the best humans I know. Thank you—and spread the word!

How Cold the Morning, How Heavy the Waltz was the first story I wrote after my son died. It’s in my flash collection Songs from the Blimp Ruins, published by Silverbacked Punk. Here's a clip of me reading the story: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8swh... The book is available here: shorturl.at/0rZqb

The Dog's Bollards by Steve Gibbs, my uncle. Painted around 2019. Depressing as hell, but I can never stop looking at it. Oils on wood panel. #ArtistsOnBluesky #Painting #Art #sw9

this is amazing

It's easy to get caught up in the scarcity mindset of indie lit & try to tear each other down but that's why it's so important that we try to support each other & promote each other's work & also why it's so shitty that so few of you are buying all my books & telling me how brilliant my work is.

"The first person I meet in heaven..." Fantastic by @djpoissant.bsky.social

Sharing some little-seen artwork by my uncle. I've always thought he deserved a wider audience. Every time I look at one of his pieces, I notice something new. It still blows me away years later. #ArtistsOnBluesky #Art #Illustration #Croydon
