The Superman No Smoking Ad, but I lost the audio track and dubbed it from memory

I am begging screaming crying shitting for people to engage with artists. Many of us have started to feel like we have nothing to draw for if our only engagement is a little heart icon or a number.

Hotpot doodles

I hate social media almost as much as I hate myself and my art. Like, who thought that it was a good idea to mass-scatter art communities into tiny fucking microcosms where you might find 0 people in 100 of them who like what you do? I hate how disproportionate engagement feels here. I hate it.

what a dreamy protobunny

This week on #RunawaytotheStars: Imagine an 80km rollercoaster ascent, then a cable descends from the sky and yoinks you off the rails. Catch up: https://runawaytothestars.com Read ahead: https://patreon.com/jayrockin

To celebrate all the recent love for #Hoi and #MoonChild, I fired up @aseprite.org to create some new Hoi and MC pixel art, for the first time in ± 30 years. 😃💚 For the scenery, I used my tiles for the Amiga version, combined with the Windows version's mountains and night sky background.

Doing work behind the scenes trying to make a reflection of the self I can be proud of. And while this doesn't quite hit the mark in reflecting certain unique aspects of myself I'd like to give to others to enjoy, I fucking love these colors.

whatever this is

I might be getting into drone/latex stuff? But specifically this brand that's limiting but not obstructing. Silencing, controlling, not completely stopping, scifi-coded. Not being able to talk/allowed to talk, but going about my business while I struggle to take good breaths, get sweaty, etc.

I'm not exactly a astrophysicist (I was in school for it but dropped bc depression), but I have been wanting to throw together a more grounded scifi world to draw, be inspired by, and use as a medium to facilitate more stuff I enjoy making. Here's a ship concept I threw together pretty haphazardly.

This would fix me.

in case i never finish it

I hate myself & I hate my art so, so much. I hate whatever percentage of me that's different from the people making art with similar themes as me, that makes people recoil in disgust or disinterest And what fucking sucks is nobody seems to know, or if they do they'd refuse to tell me unless I died

I don't know how much longer I can handle the complete, utter rejection of anything and everything that is "my soul" that I put into my art. People say social media reception doesn't matter, but then act like they wouldn't be upset if 1,000 people walked past their soul and said nothing.

Sometimes when someone is having a mental breakdown the only way it manifests is that their art gets really weird and really good

Okay, so one of my kinks is this but not requiring vore. Just, swallowing objects that are entirely too big and them getting cartoonishly stuck in the throat.

It's so hard and frustrating trying to sit down and think about what makes certain kinks tick for me. Like, why are athletic clothing, weightlifting/straining, and gyms hot to me? How do I make art out of it that IS arousing? I keep trying it and not quite achieving what I want. u' _ u
