Wildwood. A beautiful, beautiful movie that's brutal as hell and might be a touch too bloated for its own good. I wish I liked it more, because the stop motion is incredible. The violent deaths really caught me by surprise. This feels like multiple books smashed into one movie, though.

You honestly forget you're looking at stop motion puppets, it's absolutely incredible what they can do now. I really do wish the story itself was as strong as the visuals. It's worth a theater visit. I wanted to be truly blown away, but I'm not unhappy about supporting it.

Dmitri the coyote is cute, and honestly so was Septima the rat. Hope they get some art in the future. There was a particular moment where I thought Septima was going to pull a Templeton and I started gettin' all huffy expecting it, but nada...

I don't know the source material at all, so I don't know if that's correct. There's some awkward tonal shifts that made it feel like that. The main girl is fine. She felt stilted somehow, just in how she took in the world and reacted to it. Also the movie tells you nooothing about the actual world

You get pretty basic details, sure, but there's no real history as to why this world is the way it is and why it exists beyond the main witch-woman's grievance. You kind of just have to go in and accept what the movie gives you and go with that. And that's okay.

I like that Forgotten Island is just like, yeah, here's a bunch of gratuitous shots of Raww's round belly. Also here's Raww hyper muscled and veiny. Now here he is flexing and bursting out of his vest. Also Raww's gonna talk about his bunghole and nards. We made him hot on purpose. All planned.

The movie was actually good and I think the marketing didn't really do it justice. I thought I was going to be suffering through two very, very annoying girls while trying to admire the fur bait. The movie's has a lot of heart and emotion to it, and no one was annoying really.

Ending is a bit of an asspull and felt rushed, but eh. It isn't bad enough to hurt the rest of the movie I don't think. I'd say go see it, it deserves to do well.

Resident Evil. Fuck off with this shit! Why is this getting so much praise? It's a reskinned script that barely tried to plug in RE related things. It's FINE as a generic monster movie up to a point, but RE this is not. Why is everyone a goddamn idiot in the movie? This is Halloween Kills level of-

I'm also sick of runner zombies, and sick of not getting creepy corpse zombies really. I spent tip money I got on this movie man, what a joke. Oh but here's random fat guy in the sewer that explodes with rat...monsters? What the fuck ever.

Movie isn't dogshit, it's 100% NOT Resident Evil, so maybe if you go in knowing that, you'll love it. Even as a generic movie I got sick of the stupid characters to where it stopped being fun. This isn't clever horror-comedy like Evil Dead II. Still, after all the praise this got online? Fuck off.

fucktarded. The main protag is FINE up to a point (incredible dialogue btw, fuck, fuck, fuck, shit, fuck, fuck x3000) but the minute you meet other people they're SO STUPID. I like hammy and over the top movies, but this movie is whiplash in the worst way. Every Umbrella scientist is fat and stupid.

I was so turned off the MINUTE the first fat stupid scientist talks and -it keeps going and getting worse-. And TENTACLES! Why is it all fucking tentacles!? This isn't T-virus, it's not even Las Plagas or any other virus. It's just generic tentacles and a flesh pile monster. The ending is so dumb.

"Can't win for losing" seems to be my existence. Related but unrelated to things right now. It's this stress pressure in my chest. Things going wrong, attempts at righting things going wrong. Any direction taken is the wrong one.

Okay, so here's where I'm at: Is anyone willing to loan me $510 so I can cover the 1st of Sept's rent? That would let me pay the Firestone payments, though I'd still be negative $160 after. I would have to pay back the 510 in chunks, soonest I'd get paid after the 2nd (which is gone) is the 9th.

Also yeah, the original Gofundme money got ate up by the car tow, my panic joining triple A, and the rest of the payment on the starter fix, since I only had $700 left on the financing thing to pay that with. So while I'm grateful for the help, life messed all that up.

You can also just tell me to go fuck myself. I can't blame anyone there. I swear, after the rent problem at the first of August and y'all helping I was just going to sit on my thumbs and try to just do nothing and get caught up. I swear to God. And now it's turned into this mess.

No, I'm not proud of myself. I'm not happy about any of this. I probably won't be eating much this month, and that's not a woe-is-me, that's just the situation I got myself into. I'd do another Gofundme but that takes so long to process and these due dates are really screwing me.

Alternatively, alternatively, I'm open to any ideas. Cause I sure as hell don't know what to do. I -am- trying to sell stuff, but eBay has gone downhill and that takes weeks if people don't pay, got stuff on craig's list but no bites yet, and the local shop only wants to cosign.

The $216 brake payment schedule is the 6th, the 20th, and Oct 4th. The $140 starter payment schedule is the 8th, the 22nd, Oct 6th, Oct 20th. So I'd just have to repay the $510 between all of that, it may take a month. I'm struggling with the math of it all, so, forgive me there.

Thank God one charge didn't go through, no overdrafts. I'm still fucked, but I didn't need more. Currently -$140 at the bank, need to do something about this immediately or I will overdraft. $396 for Aug's 2nd rent payment due 31st $506.97 Sept 1st rent payment due by the 3rd

I'm going to have to overdraft to pay that 2nd rent payment most likely. But that's if I clear that $140 tonight. I honestly am not sure what to do right now. The scope of the money needed and nothing lining up. I kinda figured this was going to happen. The car repairs might do me in for good.

Remember when I said my life was a "ridiculous circular stupid mess?" Well someone quit at my job again, so it's right back to longer routes, and in this killer heat no less. Real awesome. I have no idea how to get out of this job. Again the world crumbling to shit seems to just be trapping me.

The car fix is apparently a new starter, and because of where it's located the work to fix it bumps the cost up. So I have to drop another $822 on the car to get it fixed. I haven't really thought about how I'm going to cover that. I get paid Wednesday so that'll be gone entirely.
